摘要： A retractor mechanism for the latch bolt in a cylindrical door lock set wherein the retractor comprises two parts, one part engaged with the latch bolt and a second part engageable by the knob spindles with means biasing said parts, at rest, to positions permitting a certain amount of lost motion by said second part, in response to spindle movement, before effective retraction of the latch bolt. The lost motion is calculated to insure that tilting of the spindles, as in response to a blow, cannot retract the latch bolt, while rotation of the spindles retracts the bolt in a normal manner.

摘要： Disclosed is a sharp cutoff frequency filter. An alternating input signal derived from a source such as a Doppler detection system is fed to a threshold detector that provides a pulse output of a preselected first level when the alternating input voltage is below a predetermined input level and of a second preselected level during excursions of the alternating input above the predetermined threshold level. The two level pulse signal is next passed to a filter circuit. Within the filter, capacitive integration is provided such that energy is absorbed by a capacitor at a controlled rate when the pulse output is at the second preselected lvel and the capacitor is rapidly discharged when the threshold detector produces the first preselted output level. Thus, the energy stored in the capacitor is a measure of the total time that the second preselected digital output was produced in a particular cycle. A second threshold detector samples the energy stored in the capacitor and produces an output signal when energy in the capacitor exceeds a predetermined level. Thus, an output signal is supplied only if the alternating input signal possesses a minimum wave length and the filter circuit functions as a low pass filter. Another preferred embodiment is disclosed in which the quiescent output from the second threshold detector enables an output circuit to pass the pulse signal. The output circuit is disenabled only in the event that the alternating input signal possesses a wave length greater than a predetermined minimum length. Consequently, this second embodiment functions as a high pass filter. Additional related embodiments disclosed herein function as sharp cutoff notch and sharp cutoff band pass filters.

The slide member and the plunger are provided with cooperable means to retract the plunger upon movement of the slide member to unlatched position. 摘要： Apparatus for dispensing pressurized gas in response to a change in velocity including a container having an outlet opening and a second opening aligned therewith, and a valving device for sealing both of the openings. The valve device includes a large diameter first piston element at one end which engages an annular flange at the outlet, a smaller diameter second piston element at the other end which engages an annular member at the second opening, and a valve member moveable with respect to the first and second pistons. The first piston element has a central opening and a surrounding sealing surface facing the outlet. The valve member has a third piston element contacting this sealing surface and a fourth piston element contacting the surface of the second piston element. The third and fourth piston elements are interconnected by a rod which carries a mass element. The piston elements are provided with face seals and the pressure within the container normally holds the seals in contact with the surfaces they butt against to seal the openings. The valve member is of sufficient mass to overcome the pressure forces and open the container in response to a predetermined increase or decrease in velocity of the container.
