摘要： An attachment device for coupling one or more restrained members to a frame. In at least one embodiment, the attachment device may be configured to attach one or more turbine combustor liners to a carrier. The attachment device may include a body rotatable about an axis of rotation and including one or more arms for grasping an edge of at least one restrained member. A fastener may be coupled to the body for coupling the body to a frame. The attachment device may also include a retainer for preventing the fastener, which may be a threaded bolt, from becoming disengaged from the attachment device and traveling downstream in a turbine. An alignment device may be included for facilitating rotation of the body of the attachment device and engagement the arms with edges of retrained members. The alignment device may include an alignment indicator indicating a position of the arms.

摘要： An inventive hot gas seal for sealing an opening, e.g. a gap or hole, in a heat shield element or between heat shield elements of a heat shield or a liner comprises at least one resilient portion for providing a force which is designed such that the hot gas seal can be held in said opening by said force and/or that the sealing efficiency of the hot gas seal is increased by said force. Thus, further means for holding the seal in place and/or for increasing the sealing efficiency are not necessary. The invention is particularly useful if the design of said resilient portion is such that the force provides a holding action and increases the sealing efficiency, at the same time.

The attachment device may include a securement structure rotatable about an axis of rotation and including one or more arms for grasping an arm extending from a support structure. A fastener may extend from the support structure and be inserted into a fastener receiving recess in the securement structure for preventing the securement structure from rotating and becoming disengaged from the support structure. The attachment device may also include a fastener retaining device for preventing the fastener, which may be a threaded bolt, from becoming disengaged from the attachment device, traveling downstream in a turbine, and damaging a turbine assembly.

摘要： A gas turbine engine (120) includes a cylindrical basket (146) having an axis (14) and a single main burner assembly (12) disposed within the basket. A burner insert (34) is disposed in an annular space between the burner assembly and the basket. The insert includes a face perpendicular to the axis of the basket. A plurality of passageways (114) are formed in the basket, positioned proximate to and downstream of the burner insert for allowing passage of a portion of an oxidizer flow (42) into a combustion chamber (30). A fluid flow path (38), defined between a combustion chamber liner portion (32) of the basket and a casing (40) spaced radially outward from the combustion liner portion, discharges a fluid into a flow reversal region (118) proximate an inlet (20) of the burner assembly. A fuel outlet (44) is disposed in the flow reversal region.
