    • The present invention provides a method of supporting a multi-port virtual local area network (VLAN) with a multi-protocol Label switch (MPLS), comprising steps of: establishing a label switching path (LSP) by the label distribution protocol (LDP), and obtaining information binding a forwarding equivalence class (FEC) and a label or information binding an ingress label and an egress label, and an address of a LDP peer entity at an opposite end, which is a next-hop IP address; the MPLS table item managing module creating a forwarding-relation table, and adding a forwarding-relation table item based upon the obtained information; obtaining an egress port corresponding to the forwarding-relation table item based upon the next-hop IP address; and accomplishing the MPLS via the egress port. With the present invention, it is possible to support the multi-port VLAN in a three-layer switch with the function of the MPLS and implement the MPLS in the VLAN.

    • Embodiments of the present invention provide a method, a switch, and a system for processing a message, which relate to the field of communications technologies, and are used to improve real-time performance in ARP request processing when APR request flooding occurs. An access switch generates a mapping table in a communication process between an intra-group server and a DHCP server, where the mapping table includes mapping between the intra-group server and address information of the intra-group server; receives an ARP request sent by a source server, where the ARP request is used to indicate a destination server that the source server needs to access; searches the mapping table according to the ARP request, and when the address information of the destination server is obtained according to the mapping table, sends the address information of the destination server to the source server.

The controller includes: an arbiter, a control state machine, a read data sampling clock generating module, a read data path module and a read data path calibrating module. The arbiter arbitrates commands and data according to the state of the control state machine; the read data sampling clock generating module generates read data sampling clocks with the same source and same frequency and different phases; the read data path calibrating module determines, among the generated read data sampling clocks, sampling clocks of positive edge data and negative edge data for the read data path module to read data by reading training words when the control state machine is in “read data path calibrating state”; the read data path module synchronizes the positive edge read data and negative edge data in a non-system clock domain to the system clock domain according to the determined sampling clocks. The present invention has a shorter delay and does not need any programmable delay element, and is easy to implement.
