摘要： A protective cover for a cell phone is formed as a trough having a generally rectangular rimmed base configured to embrace a rear surface and four sides of the cell phone. The cover has an EMF shield rotatable among closed, intermediate, and open positions. The EMF shield in the closed position lies parallel to and screens a display surface opposite the rear surface of the cell phone. The EMF shield in the intermediate position provides a stand configured to support the display surface at a landscape orientation angled with respect to horizontal. The EMF shield in the closed position lies parallel to and screens the rear surface. Rotation of the EMF shield may be effected by a double living hinge strengthened by a metal mesh that forms a Faraday cage for shielding a user from EMF generated by the cell phone.

摘要： The invention comprises a pair of locking devices where each locking device consists of two separate pieces. One piece of the locking device slides inside the other which prevents them from being pulled apart. Each piece can be attached to both the panel and the garment by sewing or by bonded with an adhesive. The panel, which can also be “snapped on” a garment, appears as a permanent part of the garment, not as an add on to the garment. The locking devices are made of yieldable, flexible material which bends easily for comfort of the user, and slide together very easily. In addition, as the pieces of the locking devices can not be pulled apart, the panel of material can not separate from the garment when the user's knees and/or elbows bend. The locking devices can be made of plastic which can be covered with fabric which can be washed and dried.

The present invention includes front and back covered segments incorporating multiple layers of buoyant material connected together by fabric inserted into one or more slits formed through the layers. In an alternative embodiment, the connected multiple layers of buoyant material are secured within the covered segments by affixing them within the covered segments. The present invention provides improved stabilization of multiple layers of flexible foam material when used in personal flotation devices to reduce curling and fanning issues and avoid bulk and weight while providing a cosmetically appealing flotation device.
