摘要： Provided are a high-speed optical modulator and a method of modulating light by using the same. The optical modulator includes first and second resonance cavities that are sequentially stacked on a transparent substrate, wherein the first and second resonance cavities each include an electric-optical layer. According to the method, first and second voltages having different sizes are simultaneously applied respectively to the first and second resonance cavities, and then for the other configuration of the modulator mutually interchanged voltages are applied.

摘要： The present invention relates to a catalyst precursor composition for electroless plating, and more specifically, the present invention provides the catalyst precursor composition comprising (a) a reactive oligomer; (b) a reactive monomer; (c) a photoinitiator; (d) a catalyst precursor for electroless plating; and (e) a solvent, and a method of preparing the EMI shielding material with the same.The present invention provides an easy and simple method of preparing the EMI shielding material by using the catalyst precursor composition that contains a UV curable resin with good adhesion to the base material, thereby eliminating the need for pre-treating the base material with a receptive layer before electroless plating.

The invention discloses an expandable passenger protecting apparatus, including a dashboard (10) having a breakable line (11a) invisible from the outside, an airbag door (11) defined by the breakable line (11a), an expandable passenger protecting module (50) arranged inside the dashboard to be aligned with the door (11), and a door holding unit (30) connected to both the airbag door and the dashboard for allowing the door to be rotated while maintaining one end of the door to the dashboard when the airbag is expanded and projected from the dashboard to a passenger. The present invention provides excellent operational efficiency of the airbag as well as the low manufacturing cost of the apparatus.

摘要： An exemplary embodiment of the present invention discloses a backlight unit with a plurality of light-emitting blocks and a light source driving section. The plurality of light-emitting blocks are arranged in a matrix shape along first and second directions different from each other. Each of the light-emitting blocks includes a light source unit having at least one light-emitting chip to emit light, and a light guiding unit to guide the light. The light source driving section controls the light source unit of the light-emitting blocks to drive the light source unit. Therefore, a thickness of the backlight unit may be reduced.
