摘要： Compositions, methods, and kits are provided for efficiently generating and screening a library of highly diverse protein complexes for their ability to bind to other proteins or oligonucleotide sequences. In one aspect of the invention, a library of expression vectors is provided for expressing the library of protein complexes. The library comprises a first nucleotide sequence encoding a first polypeptide subunit; and a second nucleotide sequence encoding a second polypeptide subunit. The first and second nucleotide sequences each independently varies within the library of expression vectors. In addition, the first and second polypeptide subunit are expressed as separate proteins which self-assemble to form a protein complex, such as a double-chain antibody fragment (dcFv or Fab) and a fully assembled antibody, in cells into which the library of expression vectors are introduced. The library of expression vectors can be efficiently generated in yeast cells through homologous recombination; and the encoded proteins complexes with high binding affinity to their target molecule can be selected by high throughput screening in vivo or in vitro.

To raise or lower the ladder, a lifter is provided in the form of a long pole having a transverse piece attached to one end thereof, the length of the piece being almost equal to the distance between the sidepieces of the ladder. Secured to the ends of the piece are resilient clips adapted to engage and clamp onto any rung of the ladder to be raised. In order to transport the ladder to a work site, a caddy is provided in the form of a pair of transverse pieces having clips installed thereon, the pieces being attached at spaced positions to the bridge of a two-wheeled carriage so that the pieces are adapted to straddle and engage a pair of adjacent rungs on the ladder in wheel-barrow position.

An expandable cooler body that includes a plurality of expandable wall sections is connected to the rigid frame member. The expandable body section is positioned within the first hollow interior space when the system is collapsed, and extends outward therefrom when the system is in the expanded configuration. A refrigeration unit is secured to the rigid frame member and controls a temperature of the expandable body section. A transitional wall member selectively operates as a lid for the cooler body and to secure the cooler body within the frame member.

摘要： The problem with sunroofs on vehicles, is that they sometimes leak, as mine does. I tried various forms of quick fixes, besides having it fixed correctly and more expensively. One day, after the tin foil I used blew off (it actually sticks when the roof is wet) I began thinking what could possibly exist that was durable and would ‘stick’ to the roof. This is when I thought up my idea of the The Rainstopper-Sunroof Shield.Using a flexible magnetic sheet, I was able to fabricate a shape that would cover the seal zone of the sunroof. Then with the help of the magnetic properties of the sheet, the roof now had a covering that would stick in place and help prevent major leaks during a windy rainstorm & downpour.The specific improvement of this device is the new application for the use of the flexible magnetic sheets. Currently, they are used primarily for sign making/business advertising purposes.
