摘要： A two axis optical FLIR gimbal assembly for azimuth and elevation supporting an assembly of optical elements including five folding mirrors, one of which is a Mangin mirror, and six lenses which implement a wide stabilized field of regard and provide a magnification of the incident image. The gimbal assembly, moreover, includes a yoke structure which is driven about an azimuth axis and supports a stable body member which is independently driven about an elevation axis. An independently driven turret is also rotatable about the azimuth axis and shields the gimbal assembly from external forces such as an air stream passing over the fuselage of an aircraft.

摘要： An aircraft window clamping ring is used to hold an optical sensor window against an aircraft wall. The ring has a plurality of cantilevers having upper contacts that bear directly down on the window. Because of the flexibility in the vertical direction, thermal expansion is compensated for by movement of the cantilevers. Horizontal expansion of the window creates no additional stress because the upper contacts bear perpendicular to possible horizontal movement. The cantilevers can be designed to preload the window to take into account maximum thermal expansion.

摘要： An assay device for detecting the presence of analytes in an unknown sample including a reaction system wherein storage reservoirs containing reagent are fluidly connected to a track containing the sample. An actuation mechanism forces the reagent from the reservoirs and into the track where it mixes the reagents together and then with the sample at a first flow rate. The mechanism then reduces the force on the reagent to allow a second flow rate less then the first flow rate to force the reagent and sample mixture through the track so that reaction can occur, whereby a determination as to whether the target analyte was present may be made.

摘要： A power bridge assembly for providing electric current to stator windings of an electric motor used in an electric propulsion system for an electric vehicle. The power bridge is assembled on a laminated bus bar. An upper plate of the bus bar connects to one side of a high voltage battery, a lower plate of the bus bar connects to the other side of the high voltage battery, and an insulation layer is sandwiched between the upper and lower plates. Electrical switches and capacitors sandwich the laminated bus bar. With this structure, two fasteners, one for positive voltage and one for negative voltage, can connect the bus bar, capacitors, and switches both electrically and mechanically. The sandwich structure eliminates parasitic inductance from the electrical connections.

A battery connector is disposed on the chassis for electrically connecting the power distribution components to a battery. A safety cover is secured to the chassis and includes an aperature in a side wall for receiving an electric cable from the battery to be selectively engaged with the battery connector. The aperture is positioned with respect to the battery connector so as to preclude removal of the safety cover from the chassis without disengagement of the electric cable from the battery connector.
