    • A packaging and a method for monitoring a packaging (10) of a disposable material in a chain of logistics. As an integral part of the packaging, the packaging has an electronic module (12) comprising electric energy supply means, data processing means, data storage nonvolatile memory means for storing information related to the packaging, time keeping means, and data transceiver means for transmitting and receiving said information in communication with a host computer (30). The electronic module also has sensor means (14, 20) for detecting a changed physical condition of the packaging and for signaling information representing said changed physical condition to the electronic module (12) to be stored in the memory means together with a notation of time from the time keeping means.

    • A method and a device of identification and authentication of a holder of a mobile electronic transaction device in an electronic transaction process between a transaction service provider and a transaction terminal in communication via a computer network. A transceiver is adapted for transmitting an identity of the device to the transaction terminal and receiving a challenge transaction identifier from the service provider via the transaction terminal. A data processing device is adapted for determining an authenticity of a user identification input by comparison with a reference user identification, and for performing a cryptographic transformation of the transaction identifier using a secret key only on the identification input being determined as authentic. The transceiver is also adapted for transmitting a response result of the cryptographic transformation to the service provider via the transaction terminal for validating the transaction.

    • A response form containing a means of input that on manual influence can switch a conducting electrical circuit connected to an electronic unit (40) incorporated into the response form for registration of the said influence. The present invention provides such a response form at low cost and enables the use of the response form as a patient journal. The patient journal also can be integrated with a pharmaceutical response package. The response package is formed of a disposable material in the form of a sheet (12), and a conducting circuit (26) is printed onto one side (16) of the disposable material. The means of input can consist of circuit makers (30, 32) that are visually marked-on one side of the disposable material and that are arranged to make electrical contact across an interrupted loop (28) of the conducting circuit (26) upon pressing together localized inner surfaces (14, 16) of the disposable material which face each other. The means of input also may consist of circuit breakers that are visually marked on pieces of the disposable material and arranged to cause electrical interruption in a loop of the conducting circuit when these pieces are at least partially removed from the response form.

    • A low-cost system for wireless, bi-directional transformation of electric signals over a capacitive interface between a host unit and a guest unit is provided. The system allows a high impedance in the circuitry of the guest unit to obtain a good signal transfer ability in conditions of poor dieelectric materials, poor conductivity in the contact pads and relatively large gaps between the contact pads. The capacitive interface comprises a respective first (A1; B1), second (A2; B2) and third (A3; B3) conductive area in the host and guest units (10,40). The first conductive area (A1) of the host unit is connected to a self-tuning frequency generating resonant circuit (16) in the host unit (10) for obtaining high gain of signals transmitted to the guest unit (40). The second and third conductive areas (A2, A3) of the host unit are connected to an impedance circuit (30) in the host unit for receiving signals from the guest unit. The first and second conductive areas (B1, B2) of the guest unit are further connected to an impedance circuit (44) in the guest unit for receiving signals from the host unit. In a preferred embodiment, the first and third conductive areas (B1, B3) of the guest unit are also galvanically interconnected.
