摘要： The toilet of this invention comprises a rigid commode having a lower hollow portion and an upper portion which fits on and is removably secured thereto. The lower portion constitutes a holding tank for ''''dark water,'''' or sewage. The upper portion is formed with a conventional toilet seat and is provided with a depending bowl having an outlet to discharge into the storage tank. A fresh water container formed of flexible plastic material is mounted in the holding tank and generally conforms to it in shape. A pump is provided to withdraw water from the container and discharge it into the bowl. As the water is withdrawn, the container collapses and provides displacement for the sewage. Thus, both the fresh water and the sewage occupy the same holding tank volume simultaneously without being intermingled.

摘要： A processing machine, such as a clicker cutter comprises a fixed platen and a reciprocably movable operating head for delivering a blow to a cutting die placed on sheet material on the platen beneath the head. A console which includes several stations (one for each differently-shaped piece of material to be cut is adjacent the cutting machine. Each station comprises a storage area for cut pieces; a counter; a movable hook adjacent the storage area on which the die for that station is placed when not in use; a counter readiness or energizer switch operable upon removal of the die from the hook to connect the counter for operation; a first or ''''in use'''' signal device (such as a green light) indicating that the die has been removed from its hook; and a second signal device (such as a red light) which indicates when the counter is indicating that a predetermined number of pieces for that station have been cut. The console further includes an audible alarm which sounds when two or more dies are removed from their hooks at the same time, so that false counting at one or more stations will be avoided. The alarm also sounds to indicate that the second signal device is operating, i.e., that the counter has finished the desired count. A counting switch relay is located on the clicker cutter for effecting operation of the counter at the station which is in operation. Override means, such as an override switch, are provided to permit a cut to be made without being registered on any counter.

摘要： The invention comprises a target, preferably in the form of a disc, defining a plurality of spaced apertures, preferably each aperture being disposed in a separate zone defined by indicia on said target. The target can be suspended in an upright position, within a frame. A ball, preferably inflatable, is dimensioned to be passable through said apertures and is tethered via a cord to a post adapted to be releasably secured in an upright position to the ground. Means are also provided for randomly selecting the aperture to be kicked at and the number of kicks per player. Preferably, such means comprise a disc bearing spaced indicia and spinably supported in a frame to which pointer is secured. The apparatus is adapted for use indoors and outdoors with the target spaced a controlled distance from the post.

摘要： The tool of this invention is specifically adapted to apply a novel clamping device or temporary fastener which includes a body having an enlarged head end to engage the near side of work to be clamped, a tension member axially movable in the body and having a gripper head at its forward end to engage the remote side of the work and an aft end projecting from the aft end of the body to be engaged by a puller, and a locking actuator axially movable forward on the body to lock the tension member in clamping position. The tool includes a first barrel to surround the fastener body and engage the head end to push it against the work, a second barrel slidable in the first barrel to move the actuator, and a puller slidable in the second barrel to retract the tension member. The forward end of the puller has a gripping jaw to engage the tension member. A first reaction member in the form of a cylinder pushes solidly against the second barrel which pushes yieldingly through a spring against the first barrel. A second reaction member in the form of a piston retracts the puller under fluid pressure. The force applied first retracts the puller until a predetermined clamping load is achieved, and then forces the second barrel forward with respect to the first barrel to contact the actuator and lock the clamping device.

摘要： A dual master cylinder assembly for separately operating two hydraulic brake systems for a wheeled vehicle, employs two oppositely moving pistons in coaxial bores. An actuator extending transversely between the pistons carries toggle mechanism comprising a pair of links, one connected to each of the pistons, respectively. A roller at the pivotal connection between each link and its respective piston rolls on the bore surface to eliminate side loading and insure that only axial forces are applied to the pistons. As the toggle links straighten out the axial force on the pistons is multiplied.
