A light source (37) is provided on the housing (13) at a short distance to the longitudinal axis (31) of the pipette receptacle (23). On the light source, an optical system is provided which generates a light cone (38) from the light beams going out of the light source.

The invention is characterised in that the means for representing the values are designed such that a volume change of the ventilated lung which is detected within each breath, is represented in an animated manner by way of size change of the lung shape corresponding to this corresponding volume change.
