    • The present embodiments relate to a plasma display panel (PDP) for preventing a chemical reaction between a rear substrate of a sodalime glass including SiO2—CaO—Na2O and an address electrode including silver (Ag), and reducing a manufacturing cost. The PDP includes first and second substrates separately provided to face each other, a barrier rib, a phosphor layer, an address electrode, and first and second electrodes. The barrier rib is provided between the first and second substrates to partition discharge cells. The phosphor layer is formed in each discharge cell. The address electrode extends from the first substrate in a first direction. The first and second electrodes extend from the second substrate in a second direction crossing the first direction, and are arranged in parallel in the discharge cell along the first direction. The first substrate is formed of a sodalime glass including SiO2—CaO—Na2O, and the address electrode includes a frit layer formed of frit on the first substrate, and a metal layer formed of metal components on the frit layer.

    • A plasma display panel (PDP) for suppressing a chemical reaction between Na2O components of a sodalime glass substrate and silver (Ag) components of electrodes. The PDP includes a first substrate; a second substrate facing the first substrate; a barrier rib between the first substrate and the second substrate to partition a plurality of discharge cells; a plurality of phosphor layers in the discharge cells; a plurality of address electrodes extending in a first direction on the first substrate; and a plurality of display electrodes extending in a second direction crossing the first direction on the second substrate. Here, at least one substrate of the first substrate or the second substrate includes sodalime glass including Na2O, and at least one electrode of the address electrodes or the display electrodes on the at least one substrate includes silver (Ag) and a metal selected from a group consisting of copper (Cu), nickel (Ni), aluminum (Al), and combinations thereof.

    • Provided is a method of manufacturing a plasma display panel and a photomask to be used for manufacturing the plasma display panel. The method includes forming a conductive layer and a photoresist layer covering the conductive layer on a first substrate using a green sheet method, exposing and developing the photoresist layer to form a remaining photoresist layer that comprises a plurality of line pairs comprising a first line and a second line separated from each other and the first and second lines respectively comprise a plurality of stripe patterns extending in a direction and short bars that connect the stripe patterns wherein the widths of the stripe patterns and short bars near portions where the stripe patterns and short bars meet each other are formed smaller than the widths of the other portions of the stripe patterns and short bars, and forming a plurality of bus electrode pairs comprising a first bus electrode and a second bus electrode by etching portions of the conductive layer outside the remaining photoresist layer, wherein the first and second bus electrodes respectively comprise a plurality of strip shaped electrodes extending in a direction and short bars that connect the strip shaped electrodes.
