    • A hair trimmer includes a fixture having an upper and a lower tie plates, with an elastic element between the upper and lower tie plates; at least two cutting units at an end of the upper and lower tie plates, with each cutting unit having a corresponding cutting part, and an end of each cutting part having notches of different depths; and at least two combing units assembled with the upper and lower tie plates and corresponding to an exterior side of each cutting unit, with each combing unit including a teeth part which corresponds to each other and is parallel to the cutting part, and an end of each teeth part having comb slots of different depths. Therefore, a multiedged thinning can be carried out while trimming and it allows the hair to have more different levels of edge and a sense of beauty.

    • A method of measuring the width of bottom under cut includes forming spacers around an oxide line pattern and determining the width of the tail ends of the spacers that are removed along with the bottom under cut. An oxide line pattern is first formed on a substrate and a deposition layer is then deposited thereon. The deposition layer is etched to form a deposition pattern by using a photoresist pattern as a mask. A spacer is also formed against each side wall of the oxide line pattern as a result of the etching process. The etching is continued to under cut the deposition pattern and remove the tail ends of the spacers. By measuring the width of the photoresist pattern, the width of the spacer before and after the tail end is removed during each respective step, the width of the bottom under cut can be determined.

    • For a plurality of logic integrated circuits, initial value vectors associated with flip-flops are retrieved from each of corresponding scan chain sets. The initial value vectors of the same corresponding scan chain set are compared with each other so as to identify elements with fixed values in the initial value vectors. When the total number of the elements with fixed values reaches a predetermined percentage, the elements having fixed values are selected as a golden pattern of the corresponding scan chain set. During the testing, an initial value vector of a scan chain of a logic integrated circuit to be tested is compared with the golden pattern associated with the scan chain, so as to determine whether a faulty flip-flop exists in the scan chain of the logic integrated circuit to be tested.
