    • A hydrokinetic torque converter is provided with a lockup clutch which comprises a piston which can be displaced in the axial direction and can be connected with the converter housing by means of at least one friction lining.     • A hydrodynamic torque converter consists of a pump wheel driven by an internal combustion engine, a turbine wheel coupled to a drive shaft, and a stator which can be blocked in one direction of rotation.
