The bottom of the receptacle opening having a reflective upper surface. A thermo device temperature change of the sample. A thermometer to register current temperature of the sample. A viewing chamber above the transparent cover, where the viewing chamber is surrounded by material that is light absorbing. A light emitting device to project light through the viewing chamber and the transparent cover.

摘要： A fuel freezing point monitoring device to monitor the freezing point of onboard fuel, especially aircraft fuel. The fuel freezing point monitoring device is capable of monitoring the phase transition or fluidity of the fuel to determine the freezing point of the fuel. The fuel freezing point monitoring device eliminates the freezing point assumption of onboard fuel by actually measuring the freezing point of the fuel. The pilot will have knowledge of the approximate freezing point of the composite onboard fuel and will no longer need to assume a conservative fuel freezing point value. Together with the en-route fuel temperature information provided by existing aircraft sensors, the pilot will have the information to ensure a safe flight and to operate the aircraft efficiently.

摘要： An integrated test device adapted to perform tests on a single aliquot of a liquid sample. The test device includes a viscosity test cell adapted to perform viscosity tests on the liquid sample; a freeze point test cell adapted to perform freeze point tests on the liquid sample; a sample injection port adapted to load the single aliquot of the liquid sample into both of the viscosity test cell and the freeze point test cell, where the viscosity test cell and the freeze point test cell are connected in parallel to the sample injection port; a data processing unit to collect data from the viscosity test cell and the freeze point test cell and process the data, the data processing unit performing calculations to determine temperatures at any specified viscosity above a freeze point and checks of integrity of the viscosity measurements.
