摘要： Aqueous polymer emulsions whose polymer component essentially consists ofA) from 15 to 50% by weight of copolymer A ofI from 25 to 98.5% by weight of a C.sub.1 -C.sub.20 -alkyl acrylate or methacrylate or a mixture of these esters,II from 0 to 60% by weight of a monomer I or a vinylaromatic,III from 1.5 to 15% by weight of a copolymerizable olefinically unsaturated carboxylic acid or one of its anhydrides which contain not more than 10 carbon atoms andIV not more than 30% by weight of other copolymerizable compounds andB) from 50 to 85% by weight of a solution polymer B consisting exclusively of the comonomers I, II and IV, obtainable by solution polymerization of one of these components (A) or (B) in an organic solvent, followed by solution polymerization of the other component in the resulting polymerization solution, dispersing the solution containing (A) and (B) in water with the addition of ammonia, and removal of the organic solvent, by distillation, to a concentration of less than 5% by weight, based on the amount of dispersion, a process for their preparation, and their use.

摘要： Aqueous polymer dispersions which have a long shelf life are obtainable by dispersing a mixture of 15-50% by weight of a copolymer (A) of(I) 1.5-15% by weight of copolymerizable compounds of 3 to 10 carbon atoms which contain a carboxyl or carboxylic anhydride group,(II) 30-98.5% by weight of C.sub.1 -C.sub.20 -alkyl acrylates or methacrylates,(III) 0-60% by weight of vinylaromatics,(IV) 0-20% by weight of copolymerizable carbonyl compounds and(V) 0-20% by weight of further copolymerizable organic compounds not stated under (I) to (IV) and50-85% by weight of a copolymer (B) of40-100% by weight of the monomers (II) and0-60% by weight of the monomers (III) to (V),with the proviso that the copolymers (A) and (B) together contain, as components, up to 65% by weight of alkyl (meth)acrylates (II) whose homopolymers have glass transition temperatures of less than 0.degree. C., and that one or both of the copolymers (A) and (B) contain the monomers (IV) as components,in water with the addition of ammonia and a polyhydrazide (C), and the said dispersions are used for the preparation of finishes and coatings.
