    • An improved salt basket for dewatering solids, particularly salts resulting from evaporation of industrial wastewaters. The salt basket system includes a pressurizable vessel having a screen floor situated above a bottom liquid collection head, an inlet for the brine/solids slurry from which solids are to be separated and dried, an inlet for air, an inlet for steam (the latter two inlets may be combined, where convenient), an inlet for solids free feed, and a drain outlet (these two may be combined where convenient into a combination feed/drain connection). Preferably, an automated system for introducing feed brine and for removing the solids product is provided. For safety, a pivotally attached lower door has a hydraulic failsafe closure mechanism and locking safety latches to prevent the door from inadvertently opening. The process control design minimizes exposure of the salt basket interior to supersaturated solutions with precipitating solids therein, thus reducing scaling of the salt basket, by introducing feed brine rather than magma (crystal/concentrated liquor slurry) to the salt basket between crystal harvest cycles.

    • The power unit cart of the present invention provides for the quick, efficient, and easy replacement of either an engine or an electrical motor power unit as the power source for a cart-mounted spray painting pumping system. The power unit cart includes a main frame which has a partial tubular socket and an axial alignment member having a vertical support tab. The axial alignment member and the partial tubular socket pivotally and slidably engage a universal mounting base which includes a tubular member and an L-shaped bracket. The power unit is attached to the upper face of the universal mounting base. The axial alignment member and the partial tubular socket, in conjunction with an anchoring device, releasably and adjustably couple the universal mounting base and power unit to the power unit cart. The anchoring device is then attached to the L-shaped bracket for adjustment of the tension of a belt drive. The power unit cart also includes a belt housing having belt guides for positioning and holding of the belt drive in a desired location for convenient replacement of a power unit. The power unit cart additionally includes a pivotally-mounted, rearwardly-extending handle which may be easily manipulated in a forward direction to facilitate the replacement of a power unit.

    • An antenna mount is shown for mounting an antenna whip on a support surface.     • A technique for DC restoration in AC coupled display systems which includesistogramming, more specifically calculation of histogram values, of the difference in gray levels between two adjacent picture lines on a picture element by picture element (PIXEL-by-PIXEL) basis. The gray level obtaining the maximum number of occurrences is considered the mode of the histogram values. This mode used as an addition factor to every PIXEL of one of the lines, to add a predominating background level or DC component thereto, which is used to create the difference of gray levels between the next two adjacent picture lines. This addition sequence is carried on throughout the entire image frame.
