    • A method of automatically configuring a data network, the data network including a controller and a virtualization host with a hypervisor installed thereon, the method including creating a virtual switch in the hypervisor and communicatively coupling the virtual switch to a first physical network interface in the virtualization host. Further, the method includes receiving a request to boot an operating system image in a virtual machine in the hypervisor, the operating system image having network connectivity requirements. The method also includes creating a first virtual port in the virtual switch based upon the network connectivity requirements of the operating system image and creating a first virtual network adapter in the virtual machine in the hypervisor. Further, the method includes communicatively coupling the first virtual network adapter to the first virtual port in the virtual switch and configuring networking attributes of the first virtual network adapter in the virtual machine.

    • A fertilizer system is provided using extraction of nitrogen compounds and other plant nutrients from combustion exhaust gases, and which is particularly suited for use with an agricultural irrigation system or engine driven plant care equipment including self-propelled tractors, mowers and the like. The system includes an exhaust chamber in communication with the motor driving a pump of the system for receiving the exhaust gases therethrough. Water is injected into the exhaust chamber for mixing with the exhaust so that the steam being formed absorbs various nitrogen compounds and other plant nutrients from the surrounding hot exhaust gases. The steam is subsequently condensed in a condensing chamber from which condensate is collected and dispensed into the inlet of the pump with water circulated therethrough. The water is thus enriched with various nitrogen compounds and other plant nutrients absorbed from the exhaust gases before being dispensed to a planted area by an irrigation system or a sprayer attachment on a self-propelled tractor, mower and the like.

    • A support device is for a vehicle having a body, a roof spaced above the body and a seat back. The support device includes a base or body connectable with the vehicle and having a mounting portion configured for attachment of the seat back and a recess providing a storage space. A roof support has a fast end connected with the base and a second end connectable with the roof. The roof support is configured to retain the roof spaced generally above a remainder of the vehicle. Preferably, the roof support includes two struts extending between the base and the roof, the base transferring the weight of the roof from the struts and to the vehicle body. Preferably, the struts each include a fluid passage extending between the roof and the base, the passage being configured to discharge fluid beneath the vehicle body.

    • A trailer hitch attachment has an elevation adjuster to move elongated members that extend horizontally toward a rear of the attachment between a supporting surface and a trailer hitch of a motor vehicle. When articles are too heavy to lift on to the attachment, the attachment if lowered. The articles are then placed in the attachment and the attachment is raised. The articles are held in place on the elongated members. If desired, the distance between the elongated members is adjusted outward or inward to better accommodate the article being transported.

    • An accessory mounting system is for attaching at least first and second accessories to a vehicle. A first bracket is configured to connectably receive the first accessory and a second bracket is configured to connectably receive the second accessory. The second bracket has a configuration substantially different than the first bracket. A mount is coupled with the vehicle and is configured to connectably receive the first bracket to attach the first accessory to the vehicle and to alternatively connectably receive the second bracket to attach the second accessory to the vehicle. The mount preferably includes a base coupled with the vehicle and at least one and preferably two apertures extending into the base, each configured to receive a fastener coupled with the accessory. A slotted opening extends into the base, is spaced below the apertures, and configured to receive a portion of either an accessory or a bracket connected therewith.

    • A liquid removal apparatus adapted to separate liquid from a composite slurry of liquid and solids. The apparatus includes a movable, permeable membrane having opposing first and second sides. A ‘loaded belt portion’ of the second side is configured to receive the slurry. A permeable membrane support system is configured to provide movable support for the loaded belt portion and includes a transport deck located in contact with the first side of the permeable membrane below the loaded belt portion. The liquid removal apparatus has a housing with a low-pressure chamber in sealing contact with the first side of the permeable membrane. A pressure conditioning system applies a differential pressure via the housing to generate a lower pressure on the first filter belt side than on the second side. The transport deck is located within the low pressure chamber.
