    • A method and apparatus for reducing artifacts in Computed Tomography (CT) image reconstruction. The method includes: acquiring an original reconstructed image; conducting total variation processing for the original reconstructed image, to generate a total variation reconstructed image; conducting initial metal artifact reduction processing for the original reconstructed image, to generate an initial metal artifact reduction reconstructed image; generating a weighted image based on the total variation reconstructed image and the initial metal artifact reduction reconstructed image, wherein the weighted image reflects that the original reconstructed image contains white-band artifacts; and combining a portion of the original reconstructed image and a portion of the initial metal artifact reduction reconstructed image through the weighted image to generate a final image, wherein the final image does not contain white-band artifact.

Using this system or method, a purchaser may view basic product information at a business-to-business exchange web page and select a link to display a product provider web page. After the purchaser contacts the product provider to configure a particular capital equipment product, the product provider posts a complete product specification and price quotation on-line at the product provider web page.     • The present invention provides a method and apparatus for reducing artifacts in CT image reconstruction. The method comprises obtaining an original reconstructed image and an original sinogram and determining a proportion of metal pixels in the original reconstructed image. If the proportion is greater than a first threshold value, then generating an expanded metal template based on the original reconstructed image, generating a metal-free, metal artifact reduced (MAR) image based on the expanded metal template and the original sinogram, and generating a final image based on the expanded metal template and the metal-free, MAR image. However, if the proportion of metal pixels is less than a second threshold value, then generating an expanded metal template based on the original reconstructed image, generating a metal-free, metal artifact reduced image based on a treatment, and generating a final image based on the expanded metal template and the metal-free, MAR image.

    • The invention relates to a manufacturing facility comprising a building structure which encloses working space of the manufacturing facility, the building structure being designed to house a cyclotron and to be transportable by truck or rail to a destination site, wherein the manufacturing facility, except for lacking a cyclotron during transport, is substantially equipped during transport to produce and package a radiopharmaceutical. The invention also relates to a method of providing a manufacturing facility for producing a radioactive material, the method comprising the steps of designing the manufacturing facility to receive a cyclotron; equipping the manufacturing facility with a synthesis unit which is designed to receive a first radioactive material from the cyclotron and to produce a second radioactive material; transporting the manufacturing facility to a site; transporting the cyclotron to the site; and enclosing the cyclotron inside the manufacturing facility. The manufacturing facility may be relocated to another site without substantial effort.
