The silanes, which have at least three condensable groups per molecule, may be mixed with a diorganopolysiloxane containing terminal condensable groups and at least one additional substance to prepare compositions which are storage-stable under anhydrous conditions, but crosslink when exposed to moisture at room temperature to form elastomers.
