    • Terminals and switching methods are provided. The terminal includes: a first component (11) connected to a second component (13) via a connection unit (12), the second component (13) being connected to the connection unit (12), and the first (11) and second (13) components being in a first relative position relationship when the connection unit (12) is in the first connection state, or in a second relative position relationship when the connection unit (12) is in the second connection state; a detection unit (14) configured to detect a relative position relationship between the first (11) and second (13) components, and generate a first detection result upon detection of the first relative position relationship, or a second detection result upon detection of the second relative position relationship; and a switching unit (15) connected to the detection unit (14) and configured to switch the terminal to a first operation state based on the first detection result, or to a second operation state based on the second detection result. The terminal includes a first operating system and a second operating system. The first operation state is an operation state in which the first operating system is primarily used, and the second operation state is an operation state in which the second operating system is primarily used.

    • The invention provides a surface capacitive touch panel and an electronic device, said surface capacitive touch panel comprising: a resistive film, on which an electrode setting area divided into at least two layers is set; and a plurality of conductive electrodes, set in said electrode setting area; said plurality of conductive electrodes including at least one set of electrodes; wherein, said set of electrodes includes: a first strip electrode; a second strip electrode, in parallel with said first strip electrode, but in a different layer; a third strip electrode, in parallel with said first strip electrode, but in a different layer; said second strip electrode and said third strip electrode being located on the same side of said first strip electrode; a fourth strip electrode, both ends of which are connected with said first strip electrode and said second strip electrode, respectively; and a fifth strip electrode, both ends of which are connected with said first strip electrode and said third strip electrode, respectively. The invention enhances the linear degree of the electrical field applied to the resistive film, thereby enhancing the positioning accuracy.

    • The invention discloses a method for transferring desktop information of a PC to a video communication terminal. The method includes steps as follow: capturing desktop information of a PC after having received a triggering command, and converting a format of the PC desktop information into a format of the a video communication terminal; encoding the converted desktop format in a mode ensured by the local video communication terminal; sending the coded bit stream to the local video communication terminal; receiving the said coded bit stream by the local video communication terminal, and transferring to a remote video communication terminal after being processed. The invention also discloses an apparatus for transferring desktop information of a PC to a video communication terminal that includes a background processing-device and a terminal processing-device. The background processing-device includes a capture driver, a capturing device, an image converter, a background encoder and a background bit stream sender; the terminal processing-device includes a terminal bit stream transmitter. With the method and device, any desktop information of a PC can be transferred to a remote video communication terminal integrally and clearly.

    • A technique for reducing errors in a PTIC (parallel, time-interleaved analog-to-digital converter) consisting of M ADCs involves sampling an input signal with the PTIC and performing M different DFTs, one for each ADC. Elements of the M DFTs are grouped together according to frequency and multiplied by correction matrices to yield a corrected, reconstructed power spectrum for the PTIC. The technique is especially effective at removing gain and phase errors introduced by individual ADCs of the PTIC, including gain and phase errors that vary with frequency.

    • A phase-locked loop (200) includes a sampler (202), a phase detector (210), a loop filter (212), and a VCO (214). The loop achieves frequency multiplication without the need for a divider in the loop's feedback path. The VCO (214) is operated above the Nyquist rate of the sampler, causing the loop to lock on an aliased signal. Any variations in the VCO output frequency (i.e., jitter or phase noise) are fed back to the phase detector (210) 1-for-1, without attenuation normally associated with frequency dividers. Loop gain can therefore be kept high, even in loops that provide high closed loop frequency multiplication. According to one variation, a harmonic generator (540) is placed between the VCO and the sampler, thus causing the loop to lock on harmonics of the VCO frequency. Open loop gain and precision are thus further improved.
