摘要： A tubular member for a writing instrument or the like is provided within its peripheral wall with an elongated passage, which extends in axial direction from one end of the tubular member into its wall and merges at its inner end with the interior of the tubular member to form at this inner end an abutment face. The short leg of a U-shaped clip, provided at the free end thereof with downwardly bent resilient tongues, is inserted into the passage so that the tongues abut against the abutment face to thereby anchor the leg in the passage. The tubular member with the passage and the abutment face is preferably injection molded about a core constructed in such a manner that it may be withdrawn after the molding operation in axial direction leaving the axially extending passage provided with the abutment face in the wall of the tubular member.

摘要： A barrel is provided with an elongated inner chamber having opposite open ends, and a pusher member is slidably accommodated with axial clearance in this chamber, having a portion which extends outwardly through one of these ends. The pusher member is thus slidable toward the other open end by inward pressure upon the aforementioned portion. The pusher member is formed with an axial passage which is open in direction toward the other end, and biasing means permanently opposes the sliding of the pusher member towards the other end. An abutment in the chamber is located adjacent the other end forwardly of the pusher member, and at least one elastically deformable washer, configurated either analogously to a Belleville spring or analogously to a spring washer, is accommodated in the chamber intermediate the abutment and the pusher member. The washer has a center aperture in registry with the passage of the pusher member so that a lead or the like can be received in this passage and in this aperture and extend outwardly through the other open end of the barrel.
