摘要： A thermal storage unit having at least one conduit around which a cast is made is provided. The thermal storage unit uses conventional piping or tubing to create conduits that economically maximize the surface area of flow in contact with the thermal mass by proving multiple passes for the fluid through the cast. This enables the thermal storage unit to economically provide heat storage as well as effective heat delivery and pressure containment for a fluid flowing through the conduit.

摘要： The present invention provides a means to support new and modified platforms without the need to modify the system software kernel. The invention uses an approach referred to as Platform Service Agents (PSAs). The PSA works with the bus manager of the system software for that platform variant and modifies the system resources as needed. The PSA isolates specifics of the platform, so that the bus manager need not be modified. Because the PSAs themselves are outside of the kernel, are downloadable, and easily created for platform variants, new platforms can be supported without modification or re-release of the system software kernel.

摘要： A thermal storage unit having at least one annular flow channel formed between an inner and outer member is provided. The thermal storage unit uses conventional mill products to create annular flow channels that are coupled to each other via transverse channels for allowing various fluid routing arrangements and piping connections, and that economically maximize the surface area of flow in contact with the thermal mass included in the inner and outer members. This enables the thermal storage unit to economically provide heat storage as well as effective heat delivery and pressure containment for a fluid flowing through the annular channel. The thermal storage unit's size and shape are optimized and its performance enhanced by providing features for maintaining the position of the inner member within the outer member, features for providing support for the unit, and insulation.

摘要： An articulated exoskeleton bait holder/protector and hook device for holding live or dead shrimp has a body formed of pivotally connected generally inverted U-shaped transverse body segments formed of stiff transparent plastic material defining interior cavities configured to receive the shrimps' head, abdominal segments, and telson. An arcuate eye opening extends over the front portion of the head segment. Retaining members extending through laterally opposed sides of the body segments releasably retain the shrimp in the interior thereof. A downwardly curved lip attached to the head segment causes the body to dive and oscillate from side to side as it is drawn through water. The body segments pivot to conform to natural movements of a live shrimp's abdominal segments as it moves forward or backward, and the open bottom portions of the body segments allow the scent of the shrimp to escape.

摘要： The present invention relates the child stroller and carriage transportation industry and more specifically to the wind and sun child protection portion of that industry, in which the device of the present invention is installed directly onto stroller or carriage tray the user chooses. The device of the present invention includes a portable foldable formed transparent windshield including two attached hinged side panels on either side of the windshield made of a non-shatter material such as lexon or plexiglass combined a control panel with cooling fans adapted with filters that operates with battery and solar power, to be removably secured to a child stroller or carriage tray with adjustable clamping means, providing stability, and a quick, easy, light weight means for protecting a child within the stroller against outdoor elements while also providing a means of combating heat and humidity with cool filtered air. It also provides easy access to the child. The user simply loosens the holding clamps, unfolds the side panels, place the windshield onto the stroller or carriage tray, slide up the adjustable holding clamps and tighten the knobs to secure it in place and select the power source and fan speed. The adjustable slide clamps also provides quick removal and foldability for storage of the assembly when not in use.
