摘要： The present disclosure relates to systems and methods for explosive systems such as grenades with novel micro-electromechanical systems (MEMS) fuze and novel placement of the MEMS fuze providing increased performance, reliability, and safety. The MEMS fuze is disposed towards a rear portion of the explosive system providing superior performance and design flexibility. Further, the explosive system includes electronics configured to implement a launch timer and to sense impact or when the system stops spinning. The present invention includes an operational method improving safety and reliability by preventing detonation until after the launch timer expires, upon impact, or when the explosive system stops spinning.

摘要： A large format stacking tray in an image production device is disclosed. The large format stacking tray may include a tray body of a first length that may be attachable to a stacker device in a finishing module of the image production device, and a tray top surface located on top of the tray body on which a media stack containing one or more media sheets rests upon after being output by the image production device. The tray top surface has a first end and a second end opposite the first end. The tray top surface may be sloped between the first end and the second end in a manner that permits media sheets that are longer than the first length to be output and stacked onto the stacker device.

摘要： The output current of a fixed-frequency DC to DC converter is sensed, creating a voltage representative of the load current. This voltage is then compared to one or more threshold voltages using a plurality of comparators, creating a plurality of logic signals indicative of which of a plurality of ranges the output current falls within. These logic signals are coupled to a multiplexer which decodes the logical inputs to one-of-n and selects one gate drive voltage from a plurality of such voltages, each optimized for its corresponding current range. The selected gate drive voltage is then used as the gate drive in a known art DC to DC converter, thereby increasing efficiency over a wide range of output current.

摘要： A fiber channel storage area network (SAN) provides virtualized storage space for a number of servers to a number of virtual disks implemented on various virtual redundant array of inexpensive disks (RAID) devices striped across a plurality of physical disk drives. The SAN includes plural controllers and communication paths to allow for fail-safe and fail-over operation. The plural controllers can be loosely-coupled to provide n-way redundancy and have more than one independent channel for communicating with one another. In the event of a failure involving a controller or controller interface, the virtual disks that are accessed via the affected interfaces are re-mapped to another interface in order to continue to provide high data availability. In particular, those targets, or virtual disks, which are owned by a failed device (e.g., interface or controller) are identified and their ownership information within the SAN configuration tables is revised to reflect one or more alternative devices which act as back-up devices.
