摘要： A diagnostic monitoring system and method is employed for one or more vapor compression systems such as air conditioners and heat pumps having a compressor, an indoor air handler fan coil and an outdoor condensor. Temperature, voltage and current sensors are provided at the outdoor condensor to determine that at least one vapor compression system is operating properly. Data obtained from the sensors is wirelessly transmitted to a receiving-device for use by the systems' custodian or repair service provider and includes information concerning an occurrence of periods when one or more of the vapor compression systems are operating at an abnormal state.

摘要： A method of forming a planarization layer over a multilayered metal network which interconnects the components of a high-density integrated circuit and which includes conductors having steep edges disposed over a substrate. A layer of spin-on-glass is applied over the lower metal layer so as to have a thickness substantially equal to that of the lower metal layer and to form a thin film over the conductors. The spin-on-glass layer is uniformly etched to expose the upper surfaces of the conductors, and a dielectric layer is applied onto the etched spin-on-glass layer and upper surfaces of the conductors.

摘要： A vapor compression thermal control system having at least one electrically powered evaporator fan and an apparatus for preventing compressor overloading apparatus having a sensor that measures temperature of air entering the evaporator. That measured temperature is compared with at least one predetermined temperature setting to activate a predetermined evaporator blower on/off duty cycle when the measured temperature exceeds the predetermined temperature. Alternatively, the apparatus can have a sensor that measures temperature of air being used to cool the condenser, and that measured temperature is then compared with at least one predetermined temperature setting to activate a predetermined evaporator blower on/off duty cycle when the measured temperature exceeds the predetermined temperature. In either case, it is evaporator air flow that is modulated when the system is operated as a heat pump. For liquid cooled evaporators, however the circulation pump instead of the fan is modulated.

摘要： In a high-density integrated circuit having a multilayered metal interconnection network, a planarization layer is formed over a lower metal layer which includes conductors having steep edges by chemically depositing a dielectric layer in the vapor phase over the lower metal layer so as to fill up hollows formed in the dielectric layer in intervals between the conductors, spreading a viscous layer of spin-on-glass over the dielectric layer, annealing the spin-on-glass layer to form a compact mass, forming vias through the spin-on-glass and dielectric layers to the conductors, and applying an upper metal layer over the spin-on-glass layer so as to fill the vias and provide electrical contacts to the conductors of the lower metal layer.
