摘要： A novel headgear is formed of a resilient elastomeric foam core having adhered thereover an exterior fabric shell, forming a composite material substantially in the shape of a football helmet. The interior foam may be cured in place within said fabric whereby said foam is self adhered to the interior of said fabric, or, alternatively, the fabric may be adhered to the exterior of said foam by means of an adhesive. The invention also provides process for forming headgear which includes providing a two-part mold including a first part containing a mold cavity, placing a fabric layer in the cavity, inserting the second mold part in said cavity, which second part has an opening for injection into the mold of a plastic foam forming material. The foam-former is injected through the opening and cured in situ in contact with the fabric thereby forming a composite.

摘要： Radial head implant apparatuses and methods are provided in accordance with the subject matter disclosed herein wherein a shaft and a head portion can be axially movable within a stem portion. In one embodiment, a radial head implant can include a head portion for articular engagement with a humerus bone, a stem portion for engagement with a radius bone, and a shaft for engagement with the stem portion. The head portion can include an upper surface for engaging the humerus bone. The stem portion can have an axial opening for receiving at least a portion of the shaft, and a collar can be disposed around the stem portion at a proximal end thereof. An upper portion of the shaft can be configured for engaging the head portion, while a lower portion of the shaft can be elongated and cylindrical for axially fitting into and moving within the axial opening of the stem portion. Other embodiments are also disclosed for axial movement for a radial head implant. Various structures are disclosed for locking the shaft in position within the stem portion.

摘要： A food and beverage container is disclosed that includes a compartment attached to its base that is filled with disposable liners. In various embodiments the container is a storage bin, glass, mug, baby bottle, or bowl. Liners can be configured in a continuous roll with perforations, or folded in an interleaved stack. Liners are pulled into the container through an opening in the container base, and can be held in place by a retaining ring pressed over the container rim. Removing a used liner causes a fresh liner to be pulled into the container from the compartment. A lid can be included, possibly with a drinking or pouring spout through which the end of a disposable liner can be extended, and to which a retaining ring and/or a spout cover can be fitted for transportation, shaking, etc, thereby preventing added ingredients such as powders from adhering to the container.
