摘要： A measurement system and method for detecting and tracking the pose of an object displaceable in a coordinate reference frame. In the system and method a visible target pattern is provided on the object. The visible target pattern includes a series of contrast regions for providing at least two feature points. Each of these feature points is located at a juncture of an optically detectable plurality of edges. Each edge in the optically detectable plurality of edges separates different contrast regions. The method and system determine the location of the feature points by first locating the edges using the change in contrast between contrast regions, and then determining junctures of multiple edges. The method and system also involve a stereoscopic digital camera for generating a pair of digital images of the target pattern and a marker template comprising a set of reference characteristics including a relationship between the feature points.

摘要： Endosseous dental implant of the type involving a threaded pin which is screwed into the bone cavity and is provided with a hole applied to the part of the implant emerging from the bone, housing a proper device protruding from the dental prosthesis in order to anchor the prosthesis to the threaded pin; onto the top part of the threaded pin exceeding the bone a removable hemispheric cup is applied so that when the threaded pin is in final position, the cup presses onto the surrounding gengiva; the cup being equipped with anchoring devices which firmly connect it to the pin, yet allowing it to be unscrewed from the pin in order to be replaced by the dental prosthesis that will fit the place occupied by the cup in the gengiva around the threaded pin.

摘要： The present invention provides a system of extracting a visual feature from a dataset, comprising a storage means for storing said dataset; retrieval means for retrieving said dataset from said storage means; display means for displaying an image of said retrieval dataset; means for defining a block of voxels corresponding to a selected portion of said displayed dataset, said block containing said visual feature therein; means for removing from said block voxels not containing said visual feature, to generate a feature block; means for generating a mask from said feature block; and means for rendering said dataset using said mask. A method of extracting visual features is also provided.
