    • A measuring apparatus is provided for measuring a diameter of a hole. The measuring apparatus includes a sensor unit, a data processing unit, and a display unit. The sensor unit includes a probing member. The probing member includes a plurality of probes with contact ends being arranged on a circumference, and a plurality of angle sensors. The probes are capable of contacting the inner surface of the hole. The angle sensors are arranged on each of the probes to obtain digitally an angle value of each splaying probe contacting the inner surface of the hole. The data processing unit is configured for receiving the angle value generated by the sensor unit and computing the diameter of the hole according to the value of an angle. The display unit is configured for displaying the diameter computed by the data processing unit. A method is also provided for using the measuring apparatus.

    • A fixing unit that includes a sleeve assembly defining a through hole along an axis thereof, and an assembly slidably received in the through hole. The assembly includes first and second end. An elastic claw extends from the first end. The second end can be actuated by a user. The elastic claw is biased towards an open state. The fixing unit moves between a first and a second position. In the first position, the elastic claw is received in the sleeve assembly and contracts. In the second position the elastic claw extends out of the sleeve assembly and expands.When the first end is pressed for the first time, the fixing unit is moved from the first position to the second position, and when the first end is pressed for the second time, the fixing unit is moved from the second position to the first position.

    • An exemplary data transmission method is used in a data transmission system which has a data source, a data receiver, first, second, and third transmission lines connected between the data source and the data receiver. The data transmission method includes: the data source generating a checking code of a first byte and a second byte; transmitting the first byte, the second byte and the checking code from the data source to the data receiver via the first, second, and third transmission lines respectively; and the data receiver judging if the first byte, the second byte and the checking code are right, if right, transmission of the first byte and the second byte is complete, if one of the first byte and the second byte is wrong, and the checking code is right, the data receiver corrects the wrong byte via the checking code.
