The touch screen assembly includes one or more transparent substrates that are arranged above a display. At least one of the sets of conductive traces may be deposited using electro deposition or vacuum deposition techniques so as to reduce a width of each trace, thereby reducing the size of a non-transparent border that surrounds the transparent substrates, maximizing the available portion of the transparent substrates for use in touch sensing.
