摘要： A polymeric composition with fire resistant properties is provided. The polymeric composition comprises a continuous phase and a disperse phase distributed in the continuous phase. The continuous phase is prepared by first mixing at least furfuryl alcohol with at least one first phenol, and by second adding a catalyst. The disperse phase comprises particles that are at least in parts heat-expandable. Furthermore, a method for producing such a polymeric composition, a substrate coated with such a fire resistant polymeric composition and an apparatus for machine-coating substrates with such a polymeric composition are provided.

摘要： A disclosed method involves initializing a performance profiler of a processing system. The performance profiler may include performance profile parameters for a power management policy for the processing system. The method also involves retrieving performance metrics for the processing system from a performance monitoring unit (PMU) of the processing system, in response to a determination that performance details should be collected. A current performance state of the processing system may be determined, based at least in part on the performance profile parameters and the performance metrics from the PMU. The current performance state may then be communicated to a policy manager of the processing system. Other embodiments are disclosed and claimed.

In the preferred embodiment, the apparatus includes a transformer (T1) having a plurality of secondary voltages presented at respective output connections (A-E), a connection circuit (12) having actuatable connection elements (R1-R6) to interconnect selected ones of the output connections, and a control circuit (14) operable to sense the input voltage at the primary of the transformer (T1) and to activate selected ones of the connection elements to produce a selected output voltage for delivery to a load. The preferred connection elements include electro-mechanical relays.

摘要： Mobile signs/billboards designed to attach to the back end of a vehicle are disclosed comprising a mounting device that is mounted to the back end of a vehicle via the holes for fixing a license plate, and a sign or billboard supported by the mounting device. The signs are designed in a variety of shapes and sizes to provide a display for advertisement or personal messaging. The sign/billboard can be inserted or removed quickly from the mounting device. While the sign/billboard is supported by the mounting device at the back end of the vehicle, the license tag is affixed elsewhere on the mounting device for full viewing and lighting. The mounting device remains on the vehicle until easily removed whereupon the license plate can be reattached to the vehicle. The mounting device comprises an inner pocket for easy insertion and removal of signs and billboards. Lighting may be wired with the vehicle or use solar power or batteries to providing lighting for the sign/billboard.
