摘要： A safety sign device is for a vehicle. The safety sign device may include a hinge being coupled a side of the vehicle, and an arm. The arm may include an elongate base, an electric motor coupled to the elongate base, an elongate housing coupled to the elongate base, and visual indicators carried by the elongate housing. The safety sign device may also include a sign coupled to the arm and being parallel to the arm. The hinge may include a pin, and a link assembly coupled between the pin and the electric motor and being rotatable about the pin. The electric motor may be configured to extend and retract the arm between a retracted position and an extended position.

摘要： Licence plates with a data medium and a slot antenna have low transmission and reception performance for electromagnetic waves as a rule. Moreover, the positioning of the slot antenna is severely limited by an inscription on the licence plate. The invention provides a licence plate with a data medium and an antenna with improved transmission power and at the same time sufficient space for the positioning of the antenna. This is achieved by a licence plate body of the licence plate having at least one cavity, and a front of the licence plate body or a coating of the front of the licence plate body covering the cavity comprises a slot structure forming the antenna.

摘要： A roll display sign device for displaying an information sheet for a vehicle includes a housing, which defines an interior space. The housing is selectively engageable to a window of a vehicle so that the housing is removably engaged to the window. A slot is positioned in the housing. A panel, which is wound and which is positioned in the interior space, is reversibly extensible through the slot so that the panel is viewable through the window of the vehicle. The panel has indicia positioned thereon, can selectively engage indicia, or can selectively engage a sheet upon which indicia are positioned. The indicia are capable of being read by a person who is positioned proximate to the window.

摘要： An impact protection device for law enforcement and emergency vehicles includes a pair of bars. The bars are configured to couple to an undercarriage of a vehicle and extend in parallel such that endpoints of the bars are positioned proximate to opposing ends of a bumper of the vehicle. A plate is coupled to and extends between the endpoints. Each of a pair of shock absorbers is coupled to and extends linearly from a respective endpoint. A frame is coupled to and extends between the shock absorbers distal from the endpoints. A plurality of signs is coupled to the frame. The signs are configured to notify drivers proximate to the vehicle. The frame is configured to transfer a force from an impact to the frame through the shock absorbers to the plate. The plate is configured to substantially evenly transfer a reduced force from the impact to the bumper.

摘要： A method and system for managing law enforcement critical incident operations at a scene of the critical incident is described, including at least one writable panel adapted and constructed to be transported to the scene of the critical incident and to contain relevant information related to a critical incident. A plurality of matching portable forms contains a copy of an entire panel or part of a panel. The forms can be color-coded in the same way as the matching panel or part of a panel. The portable forms are constructed to be transported to the scene of the critical incident, and handed out to field officers at the scene of the critical incident. The officers can write information on the portable forms while executing the operation, and through the forms provide rapid and efficient feedback to a commander who is coordinating the operation with help of the matching panels.

摘要： A multipurpose sign base suitable for supporting temporary signs includes an upstanding mast supportable atop a support surface by a substantially horizontally extending, elongate, support member connected to a lower region of the mast, and by a plurality of elongate leg members of adjustable length each having an upper portion movably connected to a central region of the mast, and each having a lower portion movably connected to a different foot adapted to engage a different area of the support surface at locations arrayed about the mast. An upper region of the mast is connectable to a sign to support and display the sign. The legs and feet have retracted positions near the mast. A rearwardly extending formation of the horizontal support member can be coupled to a vehicle hitch so the sign base also can be supported on a vehicle for transport while displaying a sign.

摘要： A display device for displaying indicia from a flat surface. The display device includes a flat elongated display panel having a front surface and a back surface. The indicia is displayed on the front surface of the display panel. A round male projection is integrated and extends from the back surface of the flat elongated display panel. A compressible female retaining member is provided and has a concave internal recess adapted to receive the projection within the concave internal recess. A nut fastener is adapted to receive the projection from a first side. The female retaining member is received from an opposite second side of the nut fastener. As the nut fastener is threaded and tightened against the female retaining member, the female retaining member is compressed over the projection to secure the projection within the female retaining member. A flexible arm having a first end is attached to the female retaining member and a second end of the flexible arm is attached to a suction cup fastener.
