摘要： A valance comprising a support for at least one elongated strip on the front side of an upwardly opening, channel-shaped headrail for a venetian blind. The support includes a U-shaped clip having downwardly extending front and rear arms and a generally horizontal flange projecting forwardly and upwardly from the front arm. A relatively flat strip holder has a horizontal slot in the rear side thereof, the flange on the clip being receivable into and releasably held within the slot. The strip holder has two or more hook elements extending from the front side thereof which engage the lateral edges of at least one elongated strip to support the strip. Cooperating means on the clip and holder oppose relative movement thereof in the horizontal direction parallel with the headrail.

摘要： Cartridge system for facilitating the insertion of hangers into a traverse rod. For the rapid and inexpensive assembly of traverse rods, a cartridge arrangement is provided for groups of hangers whereby such groups may be rapidly and inexpensively inserted in predetermined numbers into a traverse rod. The carrier portion of the cartridge may be removed immediately from said hangers or, if desired, it may be left in place to hold the hangers against movement relative to each other during shipment and may then be quickly and easily removed by the installer or other purchaser at any time following shipment. Said cartridge comprises a plurality of hangers, each having a depending pendant and an elongated carrier member having successive perforations therein for receiving the pendants of such plurality of hangers. The relationship of the elongated member, hangers and pendants and the traverse rod are all such that the presence of the elongated member does not interfere with the insertion of the hangers into the traverse rod and hence same may be inserted in groups with the elongated carrier member in place and the latter then removed as and when convenient.

摘要： A wand for adjusting window blinds comprises at least two wand sections. The first wand section is an elongated rod having a hook at one end for attachment to a mechanism for adjusting a window blind. A connection means comprising four longitudinally extending lobes is arranged at the other end of the first wand section. A second wand section comprises also an elongated rod having four fingers at one end thereof designed such that the fingers interengage between the four lobes of the first wand section to releasably and non-pivotably interconnect the two wand sections. Small teeth located on the sides of the fingers engage in notches formed in the lobes to maintain the two wand sections in engagement. Additional wand sections, similar to the second wand section, can be added to the second wand section to further lengthen the blind adjusting wand.
