摘要： A pushbutton switch has a base and a button telescopically movable on the base. There are a pair of terminals, with one of the terminals having a contact arm positioned within a switching chamber in the base. Movement of the button is effective to cause the contact arm to close upon the other terminal. The effective length of the contact arm is greater than its actual length. In one improvement, a light emitting device may be illuminated when the switch is operated. In another, a portion of the light emitting device forms the means to close the contact arm.

摘要： A rotary switch construction wherein a stator has a pocket for receiving a rotor. The rotor has a flexible rim which permits it to snap-fit into the pocket of the stator. A plurality of angled surfaces on the stator compress the rotor rim as it is inserted into the pocket of the stator. Retainer means are provided to hold the rotor in the stator. The rotor further includes a plurality of stop pairs. The stator has a single, fixed stop which is disposed between the stops of one of the pairs on the rotor. The rotor stops have variable arcuate spacing so that, depending on which pair of stops spans the fixed stop, the degree of rotational freedom of the rotor can be selected. In another aspect, the rotary switch includes means on the rotor for fastening the rotor blade in place.

摘要： A battery switch has two identical, nested terminals separated by an insulator and having aligned openings for receiving a connecting bolt. The bolt when installed in the openings provides electrical connection between the terminals. Each terminal has a lug for connection to a battery cable or post, an extension portion attached to the lug and a receptacle for receiving the extension portion of the other terminal. The extension is offset from a central plane so the two terminals fit together along the central plane in a low profile configuration. The interfitting extensions and receptacles lock the terminals together.

摘要： A low profile switch has a base with a contact pin extending through the base. The pin is press fit into a hole in the base such that the pin itself seals that hole. A movable contact including a central dome portion overlies the contact pin. The dome portion is movable into and out of contact with the pin. A gasket is disposed between the periphery of the movable contact and the base. A retainer clamps the movable contact against the gasket and urges the gasket into sealing engagement with the base to provide a sealed interior for the switch. The retainer has legs which are clinched on the under side of the base. A slidable button provides an actuating member.

摘要： A rotary switch includes a stator, rotor and shaft for the rotor. The stator has a complex conductive matrix formed of criss-crossing conductive sections integrally joined together and integral with a central annular ring. The annular ring in turn has radially inwardly-extending switch sections. There is a non-conductive support member for the matrix, with the matrix and support member having respective and cooperating openings and projections for positioning the matrix on the support member. The rotor has a plurality of pockets with contact members positioned in at least one of the pockets and arranged for electrical contact with portions of said matrix.
