摘要： An exhaust muffler disposed in proximity to a cylinder of a general-purpose engine is provided, in which an exhaust muffler for a general-purpose engine is formed from a muffler main body connected to a cylinder of a general-purpose engine via an exhaust pipe and disposed adjacent to the cylinder, a partition member that divides the interior of the muffler main body into a first muffler chamber communicating with the exhaust pipe and a second muffler chamber communicating with an exhaust outlet of the muffler main body, and an exhaust cooling pipe exposed outside the muffler main body while providing communication between the first muffler chamber and the second muffler chamber. This enables exhaust gas to be cooled effectively by passing though the exhaust cooling pipe when moving from the first muffler chamber to the second muffler chamber, thus enhancing muffling by reducing the pressure of the exhaust gas.

The clutch device is comprised of: a clutch housed in and rotatable with the differential device and axially movable from a disengaged state into an engaged state; a plunger slidably fit on the differential device and being axially movable from a first position where the plunger does not force the clutch to a second position where the plunger forces the clutch into the engaged state; an anti-rotated solenoid configured to drive the plunger; and a retainer supported by the differential device and in contact with both the plunger at the first position and the solenoid, whereby the plunger is barred from going beyond the first position and the solenoid is axially positioned in place.

摘要： The present invention provides a UCST-type thermoresponsive polymer compound which responds to a temperature under physiological conditions and has biofunctionality, and various uses thereof as a thermoresponsive material. Specifically, the invention provides a thermoresponsive material containing, as an active ingredient, a polymer compound represented by Formula (I) below or an addition salt thereof, the thermoresponsive material having an upper critical solution temperature in the range of 5 to 50° C. in an aqueous solution with a salt concentration of at least 1 mM and a pH in the range of 3 to 10.5: wherein m represents an integer of 10 or more; n represents a number satisfying 0.4≦n≦1; R1 represents hydrogen or succinyl; and R2 represents carbamoyl.

In the sampling mixer (101), a sampling switch (5) and another sampling switch (36) sample a reception signal based on a local signal with a predetermined frequency. A control signal generator (15) generates a control signal for controlling a filter operation. An in-phase mixer (2) and a reverse-phase mixer (3) perform, based on the control signal, filter processing on the sample signal obtained by the sampling switch (5). A delay controller (117) controls the phase difference between the local signal and the control signal according to a reception-desired frequency.

A face detection circuit detects an image of a face of the subject from the image obtained from the image input unit. A face expression detection circuit detects at least any one of direction and expression of the face of the subject, based on the image of the face detected by the face detection circuit. A pupil detection circuit detects images of pupils of the subject, based on the image of the face detected by the face detection circuit. A catch-light composition circuit composes different catch-lights on the images of the pupils detected by the pupil detection circuit, according to any one of the direction and expression of the face detected by the face expression detection circuit.

The electronic image-pickup apparatus comprises an area sensor for converting a subject image to an electric signal and an LCD monitor for displaying an image signal generated from the area sensor. The area sensor 1captures an image synchronously when the silver-salt photography apparatus records the subject image on the silver-salt film. When a self-timer photography mode setup switch is pressed to enable a self-timer photography mode, capturing an image through the area sensor and displaying the captured image on the LCD monitor are repeated during the self-timer photography mode.
