    • There is disclosed an anti-intrusion method for a communication network comprising a plurality of network elements. The method comprising the following steps: a) providing a passive monitoring component, a decision making component, and an action making component cooperating with the communication network; b) at the passive monitoring component, detecting management information indicative of an attack against at least one network element, processing the management information thus generating infection data and transmitting the infection data to the decision making component; c) at the decision making component, receiving the infection data, making a decision about an action to be carried out to block the attack, and transmitting the decision to the action making component; and d) at the action making component, based on the decision, instructing the at least one network element to perform the action.

    • Disclosed is a method of distributing data in a telecommunication network, the network comprising a central node, a first target node and a second target node. The method comprises: a) providing a first file comprising at least a first compressed data set addressed to the first target node and a second compressed data set addressed to the second target node; b) identifying in the first file at least a first file portion comprising the first compressed data set and a second file portion comprising the second compressed data set; and c) forwarding the first file portion to the first target node, and forwarding the second file portion to the second target node, wherein the steps b) and c) are performed in the central node.

    • There is described a method for monitoring at a management terminal events of a given type occurring in a communication network. The communication network comprises a plurality of network elements. The management terminal has a browser suitable for supporting a web like management graphic interface. The method comprises: at one of the network elements, providing a monitoring module; at the management terminal, transmitting to the monitoring module a request for monitoring the events of the given type, the request including an access token suitable for obtaining authorization to access a monitoring channel between the monitoring module and the management terminal; at the monitoring module: listening for possible management information relative to the events, each time the management information are received, processing it to generate updating data, using the access token for accessing the monitoring channel and transmitting the updating data to the management terminal through the monitoring channel.
