摘要： A method and apparatus form electrical connections between electronic circuits and conductive threads (102, 104, 106, 108) that are interwoven into textile material (130). Electronic circuits (128), such as semiconductor dies, are connected to a carrier (132) and electrical connections (136) are made to conductive connection areas (110, 112, 114, 116) on the carrier (132). Conductive stitching (202, 204, 206, 208) provides electrical contacts for both the conductive connection areas (110, 112, 114, 116) on the carrier (132) and the conductive threads (102, 104, 106, 108) that are interwoven into the textile material (130). Optionally, a thin, flexible substrate material (132) is perforated during the stitching process.

摘要： A system (10) or method (50) for controlling remote controlled apparatus can include a remote controlled apparatus (18) and a remote controlling device (12). The remote controlling device can include a wireless transceiver (9) for controlling the remote controlled apparatus and a programmable memory (16) for storing profiles defining operation of the remote controlling device corresponding to the remote controlled apparatus. The wireless transceiver receives from the remote controlled apparatus data defining a profile or a selection signal for selecting among a plurality of stored profiles. The remote controlled apparatus can be an RC toy such as a car, boat or aircraft and the remote controlling device can be a phone or other transceiving device. The remote controlled apparatus can include a stored profile that can be modified using an exchangeable housing (26, 28 or 44) having a predefined set of mechanisms for activating switches on the remote controlled apparatus.

摘要： A system (100) includes a wireless device (101) and at least one transponder (102). The wireless device (101) includes a memory (201) with an area (202) for storing coupling range profiles, a processor (203), a bus (210), a receiver (206), a transmitter (205), an alarm (208), a location module (209), a user interface (211), an antenna (212) for receiving transmitted location information, a power controller (204), an antenna (207) for transmitting and receiving, and a clock (213). The transponder includes a memory (301) with an area (302) for storing a unique transponder ID, a processor (303), a bus (308), power controller (304), a receiver (306), transmitter (305), and an antenna (307). The wireless device (101) compares current context information to a coupling range profile and, based on the results of the comparison, transmits to at least one transponder (102) at an appropriate power level. If the transponder (102) is within the predetermined range, it will transmit and the wireless device (101) will receive a response signal. If the current location context changes, the wireless device (101) will automatically affect a change in coupling distance to the transponder (102).
