A plurality of scanning lines and signal lines arranged in a matrix shape, a plurality of switching elements arranged in the vicinities of intersections of the scanning lines and the signal lines in a display area, a plurality of pixel electrodes electrically connected to the switching elements, and a plurality of dummy pixels formed in a non-display area located in the periphery of the display area are formed on the first substrate close to a liquid crystal layer. Each of the plurality of dummy pixels is provided with a plurality of switching elements connected to the scanning line or the signal line, the plurality of switching elements are connected to each other in parallel, and one electrode of each of the switching elements is connected to a wiring to be supplied with a common potential.

摘要： A dual-display liquid crystal display device concurrently displays two images so that the two images can be identified from two different viewing directions by including sub-pixel areas each having therein a first storage capacitor section extending along a scanning line and a second storage capacitor section extending along a signal line, and further, makes the characteristics of brightness relative to a viewing angle associated with the two different viewing directions be line-symmetric with each other. The dual-display liquid crystal display device realizes an increased aperture by locating each storage capacitor section within a light-shielding area and by having rectangular display regions.

A single pixel is formed by the plurality of sub-pixels including the color filter layers of different colors, respectively. The length of the slit-shaped opening in a longitudinal direction in the sub-pixel corresponding to at least one color is shorter than the length of the slit-shaped opening in the longitudinal direction in the sub-pixel corresponding to the other colors.

摘要： The present invention aims to minimize the axial and radial clearance or play suppress a radial inertial movement in the pin joint connection portions of a machine operating link device. To achieve this, the present invention provides a joint connecting pin device for machine operating links adapted to change and retain the posture of the working unit of a hydraulic excavator or the like, the device comprising: thrust distributing and forming portions which are provided between end surfaces of pin boss portions on links on one side connected to a pin and opposed end surfaces of a link on the other side and which are adapted to distribute a thrust in the axial and radial directions; rigid-elastic annular members which are held by the thrust distributing and forming portions; and an axial movement device which is provided on at least one of the pin boss sections and which is adapted to impart a radial resilient force to the rigid-elastic annular members. In the above structure, the thrust distributing and forming portions may consist of beveled surfaces which are provided on the end shoulders on the outer or inner peripheral side of the opposed end surfaces of the pin boss portions.

摘要： A turbodrill of the type having an annular floating piston between a tubular housing and a bit drive shaft for bounding the top of a lubricant chamber and the bottom of a drilling fluid chamber. The lubricant chamber contains oil for lubricating a bearing supporting the drive shaft in the adjacency of its bottom end. The drilling fluid chamber receives a fraction of drilling fluid (i.e. mud) from a turbine located higher in the housing. For making the mud pressure in the drilling fluid chamber approximately equal to the mud pressure in the drill hole (annulus) around the turbodrill, a seal is provided which restricts the influx of the mud from turbine to drilling fluid chamber. Further a passageway is formed through the housing for placing the drilling fluid chamber in constant fluid communication with the annulus.

One of the substrates includes scanning and signal lines arranged in a matrix in a display area, a common wiring line along a peripheral edge portion of the display area, an interlayer resin film at least over the whole display area, and lower and upper electrodes arranged opposite to each other with an inter-electrode insulating film therebetween. The upper electrode includes slits in each pixel area sectioned by the scanning and signal lines. One of the upper and lower electrodes is formed over the whole display area and connected to the common wiring line and operates as a common electrode. In the display area, a common line is formed in parallel to the scanning line, the electrode operating as the common electrode is connected to the common line through a contact hole and the common line is connected to the common wiring line at the peripheral edge portion.
