摘要： In a partial load range of the engine, control of the flowing state of sucked and discharged gas is executed between a pair of cylinders, an exhaust stroke of one of the cylinders overlapping with an intake stroke of the other, so that burnt gas discharged from preceding cylinders 2A, 2D on the exhaust-stroke side is introduced, in a state where it has been discharged, through an inter-cylindrical gas passage 22 into following cylinders 2B, 2C on the intake stroke side. In a higher load range than the partial load range, control is executed so that a fresh-air introducing valve 18 disposed in a fresh-air introduction passage of the following cylinders 2B, 2C is opened, both the burnt gas and fresh air are introduced into the following cylinders 2B, 2C, and fuel is supplied to conduct combustion in the following cylinders 2B, 2C.

摘要： A two rotor type rotary piston engine includes an intake system comprised of including individual intake ports provided in at least one of the intermediate and side housings to open to the respective rotor cavities and adapted to be cyclically closed by the rotors as the rotors rotate, an intake passage including individual passages leading respectively to the intake ports and opened to a surge tank through openings which are opposed to each other with a spacing therebetween. The overall length of the individual passages and the spacing between the openings is determined with respect to the intake port timings so that a compression wave produced in one individual passage in opening timing of one intake port is transmitted to the other intake port just before the other intake port is closed to obtain an additional charge under a specific engine speed range.

摘要： A coating for polyolefin molding compositions comprises (1) (a) from 40-90% by weight of a chlorinated polyolefin grafted with a vinyl-polymerizable monomer having a hydroxyl group at a position 15 to 40 atoms distant from the main chain of vinyl polymer grafted onto the chlorinated polyolefin, or (b) from 50 to 90% by weight of a vinyl polymer obtained by polymerizing from 5 to 40% by weight of a hydroxyl group-containing (meth)acrylate monomer having a carbon chain derived from an alcohol residue with from 6 to 18 carbon atoms, and a vinyl-polymerizable monomer having a hydroxyl group at a position 15 to 40 atoms distant from the vinyl group, wherein the vinyl polymerizable monomer is derived from the reaction product of a vinyl-polymerizable monomer having a hydroxyl group at a position 2 to 12 atoms distant from the vinyl group and a lactone, and (2) from 10 to 60 or 50% by weight of a melamine resin containing methylol, alkoxy or imino groups.

摘要： A hydraulic control system for an automatic transmission includes a three-way duty solenoid valve which is driven at a duty rate to regulate pressure at its input port and develop a controlled pressure at its output port leading to a frictional coupling element for shifting the automatic transmission to a specific mode. The duty rate is changed depending upon driving conditions so that the controlled pressure is forced to reach a desired hydraulic pressure according to driving conditions.
