摘要： A plurality of ATMs of different financial institutions include ATM software that enables them to individually selectively access different ATM applications through network communication with a remote server of an application service provider (ASP). The ATM software also allows the ATMs to carry out transaction responsive to instructions included in ATM application accessed from the ASP server. The ASP server uses a thin client model or remote windowing to execute individual ATM application sessions for each ATM connected to the server. The ATMs run limited capability thin client software to serve as portals to the ATM sessions executing on the ASP servers. The right to access ASP server side ATM applications is provided to the financial institutions in exchange for payment to the ASP. Server software can cause charges to be assessed on a time basis, a per ATM basis, or a per transaction basis.

摘要： An ATM can accept a bulk stack of currency notes for deposit from a customer. The ATM includes a stack transporter (400) that can rotate an accepted stack while relocating it to a predetermined location inside of the machine. The stack transporter includes a rotatable housing (406) in which a stack holder (404) is movable. The stack holder can receive a currency stack (411) deposited in a fascia opening (412) by a customer. The stack holder is retracted to move the stack away from the opening and into the housing to completely move the stack into the machine. The housing, having the bulk stack therein, is then rotated to move the stack away from the opening and toward a stack processing area in the machine. The stack holder is then extended to expose a stack end out of the housing for stack processing.

摘要： An automated banking machine is operative to test a display module thereof. The test determines whether the display module fails to produce an acceptable display output. A predetermined color sequence is sent to the display module for display thereof. A sensor device positioned adjacent the display module screen is operative to sense displayed colors. A machine controller is operative to determine whether the display module displayed the correct color sequence. A display module error signal can be generated responsive to the display module failing to display the proper color sequence. The testing of the display module may continue repeatedly to continually update its display status.

Sheets determined to have at least one property of genuine sheets are processed and stored in the machine.

The dispenser modules can be used in an automated banking machine operative to dispense multiple types of sheet media. Modules include a projection plate and a biasing latch arm on side walls thereof. The projection plate includes a pin adapted to be received in a side wall slot. A first module is locked to a second module through a first module latch preventing movement of a second module pin from a first module slot. Disassembly of the locked modules can occur with compressing of the latch to release the modules relative to each other.

摘要： An ATM apparatus including a selectively removable sheet storage container supported within the secure chest portion. The sheet storage container is carried on a movable frame for movement into an operational position. The movable frame is movable from an out/down position to enable removal and replacement of the container, to an in/up position to place the container in the operative position. The frame is operatively supported through pivoting arm members for coordinated movement therewith. As the sheet storage container is moved into the operative position, a locking pin of a catch automatically slides into a locking recess to lock the storage container in the operative position and prevent movement of the frame. Upon operation of a lever, the locking pin is released and the frame moves toward the out/down position so that the sheet storage container can be removed and accessed.

Movement of the drive cam enables movement of the locking bolt between extended and retracted positions.
