摘要： A secure enclosure for an automated banking machine includes a safe chest portion and a moveable door. The door has mounted thereon a locking bolt work mechanism which is operable to secure the door in a closed position. The door is mounted to the chest with the use of hinge assemblies having respective hinge pins. The hinge assemblies enable the door to be selectively adjusted in up-down and right-left directions. The door can be moved in the up-down direction via an adjustable set screw operative to move vertically relative to a hinge pin. The door can be moved in the right-left direction via adjustable set screws operative to engage and pivot the hinge pin. Thus, the door can be aligned with the chest opening.

The door has mounted thereon a locking bolt work mechanism which is operable to secure the door in a closed position. The bolt work mechanism includes a drive cam that is connected to an idler cam by a cam link. The drive cam is further connected to a locking bolt by a drive bolt link. The idler cam is connected to the locking bolt by an idler bolt link. Movement of the drive cam enables movement of the locking bolt between extended and retracted positions. The locking bolt can have a stepped edge configuration to provide stepped engagement in securing a door having a similar stepped edge configuration.

Movement of the drive cam enables movement of the locking bolt between extended and retracted positions.

摘要： An automated banking machine includes a display device in an upper housing portion and a currency dispenser in a (lower) chest housing portion. A cooling system within the machine housing is operative to cool air in the housing. The cooling system includes temperature sensors, an air duct, a blower, and an air cooling device. The duct extends between the separated chest portion and the upper portion. The chest portion houses the blower, which is operative to move air through the duct. A controller can operate the air cooling device to maintain the air temperature in both the upper portion and the chest portion within a predetermined temperature range.

摘要： An automated banking machine (10) includes a lockable first fascia portion (20) which when unlocked enables access to a chest lock input device (104), inputs to which enable opening a chest door (18) of the machine. Opening the first fascia portion also enables access to an actuator (116) which enables moving a second fascia portion (22) for conducting service activities. A baffle structure (164) is positioned on the housing adjacent the second fascia portion to enable cooling air flow within the housing of the machine and to prevent the introduction of moisture into the housing. A controller (72) in the machine selectively illuminates light emitting devices (118, 126) for purposes of facilitating user operation of the machine. Servicing the machine is facilitated through use of a portable diagnostic article (98) which enables the controller to access diagnostic data stored in memory.
