摘要： An automated banking machine operates using data read from user cards. The machine is operative to transfer funds in accounts. The machine includes a user fascia adapted to be held by a lock adjacent an opening of a housing supported atop a chest. The fascia is supported by the housing through two horizontally-disposed members. The fascia is movable away from the housing. The machine includes serviceable components supported within the housing or by the fascia. A machine servicer may stand between the two horizontally-disposed members while servicing the machine. The housing additionally includes a rear panel similarly movably mounted with two other horizontally-disposed members for use in servicing rear components.

摘要： An automated banking machine (10) includes a cash dispenser (220). A machine user interface (15) includes a card reader (16), receipt printer opening (30), and cash dispensing opening (38). A cash acceptor mechanism (80) includes a chute (82) which enables a user to input a stack of currency notes (84) into the machine through a deposit opening (40). Notes are separated from an inputted stack via a note picker device (158, 352) and a note stripper device (64, 162, 354). Upon sensing multiple notes have been picked, picker device movement is reversed to function with the stripper device in returning notes toward the stack. The stripper device is driven to move a note engaged therewith at a faster rate or for a longer time period relative to a note engaged with the picker device to reorient returning notes to facilitate a subsequent note separation attempt.

摘要： An automated banking machine is operated responsive to data bearing records. The machine operates using data read from user cards and causes funds to be transferred. The machine includes a housing, a card reader operative to read indicia on user cards corresponding to financial accounts, a display, a cash dispenser, a secure enclosure including a chest and a door supported on hinges. A fascia is supported by the door through planar linkages and movable from a position adjacent the door to a position away from the door. A side extension is supported by the door through a planar linkage and movable from a position adjacent the hinges to a position spaced apart from the hinges. A connecting linkage operatively connects at least one fascia linkage with the side extension linkage.

Unacceptable sheets are routed to a storage area (100). Provisions are made for reducing the risk of attack on the ATM by criminals and to facilitate servicing by authorized personnel.
