摘要： An apparatus for calibrating a test unit adapted to characterize CML integrated circuits. The apparatus is adapted to deskew the time delays of each pin of the fixture which receives the CML circuit under test with respect to a certain predetermined pin and preselected pin thereof. The preselected pin and a predetermined pin are shorted and the time delay between the generation of a shaped pulse and its connection through the preselected pin to the predetermined pin and to a test unit is determined by said test unit. The time delays are then utilized to remove any time delays caused by the test apparatus itself so that the CML circuit under test can be accurately characterized.

The first hand indicates an arbitrary unit of elapsed time which is displayed during time measurement and the secondary hand indicates time in a fraction of the arbitrary time units, the secondary hand driven after elapsed time measurement. The stopwatch includes elapsed time measurement circuitry including a memory counter circuit for counting elapsed time in 1/100ths of a second and for providing a signal for driving a second and minute hand during time measurement, a secondary counter for providing a signal for driving a 1/100th second hand after completion of time measurement. The 1/100th second hand is driven to indicate the elapsed time under one second as determined by a coincidence detector for comparing the output of the secondary counter signal and that of the memory counter.

摘要： An indicator device for use as a time indicator or a time-temperature indicator. A container is provided for housing a frangible capsule and a porous carrier. A vapor generating chemical is enclosed in the capsule. A mixture, including a second chemical, a pH change responsive indicator, and a gel forming agent are impregnated in the porous carrier. The pH of the vapor is different from the second chemical. A gel is formed from the mixture and provides uniform dispersion of the second chemical and the indicator throughout the porous carrier, as well as provides an impedance to the vapor as it moves through the porous carrier. The device is thus useful as an elapsed time indicator for certain temperature ranges as well as a time-temperature indicator for wider temperature ranges.

摘要： A clock for indicating estimated time of arrival has a minute hand and hour hand for indicating present time in combination with a minute and hour hand which are set for estimated time of arrival (ETA). An ETA hour hand knob positioned above the crystal on the face of the clock has a hollow shaft which protrudes through a central aperture in the clock crystal. The ETA hour hand is mounted to the shaft and mounting tension for the hour hand knob is maintained by a spring washer between the ETA hour hand and clock crystal. An ETA minute hand knob has a shaft portion which coaxially protrudes through the hollow shaft of the hour hand knob. An ETA minute hand is securely fastened to the end of the minute hand knob shaft. A second spring washer is provided between a shoulder on the ETA minute hand knob and a top portion of the hour hand knob, the entire combination providing a simple, stable, individually settable ETA hour and minute hand set.
