摘要： An image forming device having a printer unit, a post-processing unit, and an eject tray. The printer unit forms images on recording sheets, and the post-processing unit performs processing on a recoding sheet stack composed of one or more recording sheets output from the printer unit before the recording sheet stack is ejected onto the eject tray. The image forming device includes: a buffer unit that, while a first recording sheet resides in the post-processing unit for the post-processing, holds a second recording sheet therein, the second recording sheet output from the printer unit subsequent to the first recording sheet; and a reverse path that reverses recording sheets when the image forming device performs duplex printing. In a plan view of the image forming device taken along a vertical direction, the post-processing unit, the buffer unit, and the reverse path at least partially cover one another.

摘要： An image scanner includes a transparent plate, a scanning device, a driving device, a positioning member, a light absorbing portion and a white reference portion. The transparent plate has an original placing surface. The scanning device irradiates an original with light by means of a light source and scans reflected light from the original. The driving device reciprocates the scanning device along the transparent plate. The positioning member positions the original placed on the original placing surface of the transparent plate. The light absorbing portion, which is disposed on the original placing surface side of the positioning member and at substantially a central portion of the positioning member in moving directions of the scanning device, absorbs ambient light entering to the original placing surface side of the positioning member through the transparent plate. The white reference portion is provided to the original placing surface side of the positioning member.

The document placing tray is between the document ejection tray and the transparent platen. A ramp is located at an end of the transparent platen. A feeding path extends from the document placing tray through a scanning position on the transparent platen to the document ejection tray. The scanning position is adjacent to the end of the transparent platen. The feeding path comprises the ramp at the end of the transparent platen. The ramp turns the feeding path from the transparent platen toward the document ejection tray.

摘要： A sheet conveyance device includes a sheet placing portion, a guide member, a signal obtaining portion, and a notification portion. On the sheet placing portion, a sheet to be conveyed is placed. The guide member is disposed on the sheet placing portion so as to move in a width direction vertical to a sheet conveyance direction, and restricts, in the width direction, a position of the sheet on the sheet placing portion. The signal obtaining portion obtains an electric signal with a value corresponding to a position of the guide member. The notification portion, when a difference between the value and any of thresholds that are set in advance based on each sheet size in the width direction for determination of the size of the sheet, is equal to or smaller than a predetermined reference value, notifies that the sheet is separated from the guide member.
