    • The present invention relates to a method for compensating temperature in a crystal oscillator including a capacitor array consisted of a first bank of unit capacitors each with low capacitance and a second bank of unit capacitors each with high capacitance. The method comprising the steps of calculating memory address that stores information about the capacitor array address in accordance with the temperature that is subtracted from present temperature by a temperature offset code; reading data from a memory address corresponding to remain bits excepted lowest bit when the lowest bit is 0 among the memory address; averaging data read from a memory address corresponding to remain bits excepted lowest bit and data of a memory address incremented by 1 from the memory address when the lowest bit is 1 among the memory address; transmitting data read from the memory address or averaged data to the first bank or second bank by comparing the memory address and temperature boundary code; and adjusting the capacitor array with capacitance corresponding to a present temperature by using data transmitted to the first bank or second bank.

    • A radio communication device, which transmits or receives a signal at a predetermined carrier frequency. The device includes a reference oscillator, which generates a clock frequency having a clock frequency error relative to a specified frequency thereof, a processor, which estimates the clock frequency error and parses the error to determine coarse and fine error correction components, at least one frequency synthesizer, which responsive to the clock frequency and to the coarse error correction component, generates a partially corrected frequency having a residual frequency error, which partially corrected frequency is applied to process the signal and baseband processing circuitry, which applies the fine error correction component to process the signal so as to correct the residual frequency error.

    • A frequency correction circuit includes a temperature sensor (100) disposed to measure temperature and produce temperature signals representing sensed temperatures. A data supplier (110) stores information items, receives digital input signals representing and produces a digital output information signal representing an item selected in accordance with the digital input signal. A control circuit (120) receives the temperature signals and receives the digital output information signal. The control circuit (120) produces control signals based on the temperature signals. A clock circuit (150) is disposed to generate a reference frequency signal. A digital synthesizer (130) receives the reference frequency signal and the control signals. The digital synthesizer produces an output frequency signal as directed by the control signals received from the control circuit (120).
