The transmitting unit emits a brake command and an engine off command. The device comprises a receiving unit that is coupled to a vehicle. The receiving unit is operationally coupled to the central processing unit of the vehicle. The receiving unit is positioned to receive the brake command and the engine off command from the transmitting unit. The receiving unit relays the commands to the central processing unit of the vehicle. The central processing unit of the vehicle issues the brake command to the braking system of the vehicle and the engine off command to the engine of the vehicle, bringing the errant vehicle to a stop.

The circumferential gap is in flow communication with a drain gap between the outer housing and a bore for receiving the fuel injector, the drain gap routing the low pressure fuel away from the injector tip.

In one example, a method for an engine may include adjusting an amount of fuel vapors flowing through a fuel vapor recirculation line, where the recirculation line may be coupled on a first end to a fuel tank and on an opposite second end to a fuel fill inlet. The valve may be adjusted to a more open position to increase fuel vapor flow through the recirculation line in response to increases in hydrocarbon emissions from a fuel vapor canister, and to a more closed position to reduce fuel vapor flow through the recirculation line in response to increases in hydrocarbon emissions from the fuel fill inlet.

The injection instruction unit instructs the multiple fuel injection valves to perform the fuel injection while the engine is stopped on the basis of at least one of an amount of heat from combustion gas with respect to at least one of the multiple fuel injection valves and an amount of heat radiated therefrom. The injection instruction unit refers to an EGR rate before the engine is stopped and reduces the fuel injection while the engine is stopped as the EGR rate is lower.
