According to the present invention, a protein having a heat-resistant malate dehydrogenase activity and having higher purity and superior heat stability can be obtained. In addition, a reagent for GOT determination which is superior in long-term storage can be prepared by the use of the protein having a heat-resistant malate dehydrogenase activity.

摘要： An apparatus for monitoring cylinder combustion in an internal combustion engine having at least one cylinder to control the engine by employing a pressure sensor sensitive to combustion pressure in the cylinder for producing a sensor signal indicative of a sensed cylinder combustion pressure level. From the sensor signal, there are extracted a knock signal in a predetermined high frequency range and a cylinder combustion pressure signal in a predetermined low frequency range. The apparatus includes an electrical circuit which provides a first indication in response to an abnormal condition of the high frequency knock signal and a second indication in response to an abnormal condition of the low frequency cylinder combustion pressure signal. The circuit provides a failure indication of the sensor signal being unreliable for use in controlling the engine in the presence of the first and/or second indications. The engine is controlled independently of the sensor signal upon occurrence of the failure indication.

摘要： In a multi-cylinder internal combustion engine with a single fuel injection valve provided in a manifold entrance, a fuel supply system including a primary and a secondary passage formed by partitioning the manifold entrance is disclosed wherein the portion of the secondary passage located on the outer circumferential surface of the primary passage in the joined portion of each exit of both passages is formed ring-shaped and the exits face the floor surface of a riser portion. Thus, the fuel supply system makes it possible to maintain satisfactory fuel atomizing characteristics during all driving conditions and to obtain uniform mixture distribution characteristics with respect to each engine cylinder.

摘要： Herein disclosed is an apparatus by which an exhaust gas sensor is placed in flow communication with the exhaust gases issued from an engine. The apparatus is so constructed and arranged such that a volume of air is maintained about a body portion of the exhaust gas sensor in heat conductive relation with the exhaust gases. The apparatus may be provided with a heater around a probe portion of the exhaust gas sensor which projects into the exhaust conduit. The heater is selectively energized to heat the probe portion when the temperature of the exhaust gases is low.
