    • A vehicle belt molding includes an attaching member and a seal lip. An elastic repulsive member is disposed between the engage wall portion and the seal lip and integrally provided with a fixed piece portion, a shifting piece portion, and a connecting piece portion. The seal lip is always urged toward the window pane by an elastic restoring force of the connecting piece portion itself or by a cooperative function of the elastic restoring force and an elastic restoring force of the elastic polymer material. When the attaching member is mounted to the mounting member, the seal lip causes the contacting portion to be elastically restored by the elastic restoring force toward a thickness direction of the window pane at a speed exceeding a restoring speed obtained only by the elastic polymer material.

    • The occurrence of recessed marks on a surface of weatherstrip having a core embedded therein is prevented. Core (16) to be embedded in weatherstrip (13) is obtained by linking multiple core pieces (22) at given intervals so as to provide separation spaces (24) between individual core pieces (22), filling the interior of the separation spaces (24) with filler polymer material (P2) to a thickness substantially equal to that of the core pieces (22), and coating the whole surface of the core (16) with the filler polymer material (P2). Accordingly, in the forming of weatherstrip (13), the thicknesses of trim polymer material (P1) at the area covering the core pieces (22) and at the area covering the separation spaces (24) filled with the filler polymer material (P2) are made substantially identical with each other, thereby attaining substantially zeroing of the variation of molding shrinkage along the thickness direction of the trim polymer material (P1).

    • Disclosed in an absorbent article including a main body and leakage preventing walls. The leakage preventing walls extend longitudinally and lie opposite one another transversely. Each wall is formed of a nonwoven fabric having corrugations, the crests and valleys of which alternate with each other in the longitudinal direction. The nonwoven fabric is provided with an elastic member extending in the longitudinal direction for exhibiting longitudinal shrinking force. The elastic member is adhered to the valleys of the corrugations of the nonwoven fabric with an adhesive. The adhesive is applied to the surface of the elastic member in a band or linear shape continuous in the axial direction of the elastic member and appears regularly or at random at an interval on an arbitrary line which is set on the surface of the elastic member to extend parallel to the axial direction.
