摘要： A cam mechanism has different portions thereof arranged on a main unit, which may be a refrigerator, and on a door. When the door is closed, a hinge pin is locked at one end of a hinge groove, keeping the cam mechanism in a first locked position. As the door is opened, the hinge pin is guided by the hinge groove and a guide pin is guided by a guide groove, permitting the door to rotate and slide. Thus, the hinge pin is locked at the other end of the hinge groove, bringing the cam mechanism to a second locked position. A boss slides on a rib and thereby maintains the second locked position, permitting the door to rotate about the hinge pin. This structure helps realize a door opening/closing mechanism with enhanced operability at reduced cost.

摘要： According to one embodiment, an interpolation frame generating method includes detecting a motion vector of an object in input frame images by block matching processing between the input frame images, generating an interpolation frame by using the detected motion vector, and inserting the interpolation frame between the input image frames. The detecting includes calculating an absolute difference value between values of each pair of pixels located in same position in respective image blocks which are located in positions corresponding to each other on former and latter frames of the input frame images. A vector based on positions of a pair of blocks on the former and latter frames having minimum SAD indicating a cumulative sum value of the absolute difference values is selected as the motion vector. When the absolute difference value is larger than a predetermined value, the difference value is changed, and a possibility of erroneous detection of motion vector is reduced.

摘要： In a tool holder, when oil supplied via an oil supply passage and an oil introducing passage reaches an atomizing space, the oil is atomized by an air flow of carrier gas consisting of compressed air, and then water supplied from a water supply passage and a water introducing passage is formed into a water drop in the atomizing space by an air flow of oil containing compressed air to generate the water drop with oil film in which the oil film is formed on a surface of the water drop. Since the water drop with oil film is supplied to a work piece through a top nozzle and an in-tool passage, the water drop with oil film is generated at an extremely close location to a tool, and therefore, responsiveness when supplying the water drop with oil film to the work piece can be enhanced.

摘要： A flat display unit has a chassis combining a display panel and circuit boards for driving the display panel into a unit in which the display panel and the circuit boards are mounted on respective opposite surfaces of the chassis. In accordance with the structure mentioned above, it is possible to effectively form the drop of water with the oil film.

摘要： Method and apparatus for producing thermoplastic resin film which allows a biaxially oriented polyester film to be formed at a high speed of 400 m/min or more. In the method, a molten thermoplastic resin film is brought into contact with a cooling medium, to be cooled and solidified, for producing a cast film. The method is characterized by keeping the surface temperature of the cooling medium in the region immediately before the melt reaching position at not lower than the glass transition temperature and not higher than the melting point of the thermoplastic resin. The apparatus is characterized by a cooling medium having a heater and a cooler to ensure that the surface temperature of the cooling medium in the region immediately before the melt reaching position is kept at the requisite temperature, and by a surface temperature of the cooling drum in the region immediately before the film leaving position being maintained lower than the glass transition temperature of the thermoplastic resin.
