    • An apparatus for recycling energy in a liquid crystal display (LCD) so as to reduce energy loss when the LCD is driven by a driving circuit. The LCD includes two pixels, each of which has a corresponding capacitor and has a corresponding voltage applied to. The polarities of the voltages of the two corresponding capacitors are variable with time and are opposite to each other. The apparatus includes two switches and an energy converter. The two switches are used for selectively coupling the respective capacitors to the apparatus. The energy converter is used for outputting converted energy according to the voltages of the two capacitors. By enabling the first switch and the second switch selectively, the apparatus recycles energy dissipated during polarity inversion for the two pixels as energy for driving a load device.

    • A method of display by sub-frame driving on a monitor. The monitor has pixels arranged in an m*n array, where m and n are integers. The monitor receives a frame signal for displaying a frame for a frame periods. The frame signal includes pixel data for each of the pixels of the monitor. The frame period is divided into k sub-frame periods, a sub-frame being displayed during each of the sub-frame period. Each of the sub-frames corresponds to a driving shift voltage, and the method displays the sub-frames sequentially, wherein the method of displaying the pixel (i,j) of the p-th sub frame includes applying a driving voltage (i,j) to the pixel (i,j). The driving voltage (i,j) is a target driving voltage corresponding to the pixel (i,j) plus the corresponding driving shift voltage.

    • A source driving circuit includes a gamma voltage generator, a common voltage generator and a driver. The gamma voltage generator receives gamma data from a timing controller through reduced swing differential signaling (RSDS) transmission interface to generate corresponding gamma voltages. The common voltage generator receives common voltage data from the timing controller to generate a corresponding common voltage. The driver receives image data from the timing controller through the RSDS transmission interface, the gamma voltages from the gamma voltage generator and the common voltage from the common voltage generator for modifying the image data using the gamma voltages and the common voltage and transmitting the modified image data to a panel of the liquid crystal display.

    • A data transmitting method for inputting a data signal to an electronic device. The data signal includes first and second sets of data, and the electronic device includes first to fourth receiving units and corresponding first to fourth registers. The transmitting method includes the following steps. First, the first and second receiving units are disabled. Then, the first set of data is inputted to the electronic device through the third and fourth receiving units and stored in the third and fourth registers during a first clock cycle of a clock signal. Thereafter, the second set of data is inputted to the electronic device through the third and fourth receiving units and stored in the third and fourth registers while the first set of data stored in the third and fourth registers is inputted to the first and second registers during a second clock cycle of the clock signal.
