摘要： The present invention makes available methods and reagents for inhibiting aberrant growth states resulting from hedgehog gain-of-function, ptc loss-of-function or smoothened gain-of-function comprising contacting the cell with a hedgehog antagonist, such as a small molecule, in a sufficient amount to aberrant growth state, e.g., to agonize a normal ptc pathway or antagonize smoothened or hedgehog activity. Such methods and reagents may also inhibit the hedgehog pathway in normal cells, e.g., where normal levels of hedgehog signalling are unwanted.

A track is received from the primary controller that is part of a copy job comprising a sequence of tracks to copy along with a sequence number of the received track and a context number identifying computational resources in the primary controller used to transmit the track, sequence number, and context number. The context number and sequence number transmitted with the track are used to determine if a track preceding the received track was written to storage. The secondary-controller writes the received track to storage if the track preceding the received track was written to storage.

摘要： Light generating devices for illuminating portions of vascular tissue to administer photodynamic therapy, and usable with, or including a distal protection device. A first device includes a hollow tip, a flushing lumen, a guidewire lumen, and at least one of a light source, and a hollow light transmissive shaft that is adapted to accommodate a light source. If desired, the device can include a balloon, so that a portion of a body lumen between the balloon and the distal protection device is isolated when the balloon is inflated. A second device includes inner and outer catheters, the outer catheter including a balloon, and the inner catheter including a light source and distal protection device comprising a shape memory polymer. Yet another device is a catheter having two balloons and a sleeve extending therebetween. Within the sleeve, the catheter includes a light source and an expanding member.

摘要： A light generating device for illuminating tissue adjacent to a body lumen while a distal end of the device is centered in the lumen, to render photodynamic therapy. The device can either occlude or displace bodily fluid, both without the use of a balloon. In one embodiment, a flushing lumen has a port adjacent to an array of light sources, to displace bodily fluid that might otherwise absorb light. Another embodiment employs a centering member that moves between a first position and a second position. The centering member centers the device in the lumen and preferably is formed of a shape memory material. In yet another embodiment, the device includes an outer sheath and an inner member that are independently positionable, enabling the centering member to be selectively positionable. The centering member can be non porous, such that the centering member also occludes fluid flow.

摘要： A fuse arrangement for use in a vehicle is provided having a configuration wherein a common bus terminal connected to a voltage supply is connected to terminals of one or more axial fuses. Additionally, the present invention includes a fuse array including a planar substrate with fuses constructed on the substrate by film metallization. Furthermore, the invention includes a carrier strip used for packaging automotive fuses that is made of a flexible material capable of being rolled into a package for shipping to an end user. The invention also includes a mini fuse having reduced terminal spacing for use in vehicles with mixed voltage systems wherein the reduced terminal spacing fuse is used for a particular voltage.

摘要： A non-ceramic image sensor semiconductor package with improved moisture resistance, lower cost, and higher reliability is provided. A semiconductor chip with a vision chip active area is attached to a multi-layer resin mask organic substrate. A plurality of bonding wires are attached between parts of the semiconductor chip and the multi-layer resin mask organic substrate to create selective electrical connections. A castellation is formed to create a riser surrounding the semiconductor chip. The height of the castellations can be made to a desired height so that proper clearance of the semiconductor chip and the glass window is achieved. A transparent window is placed on the top of the castellations. A liquid encapsulant is formed to protectively seal the non-ceramic image sensor semiconductor package thereby shielding the semiconductor chip and vision chip active area from the external environment. Because the same or similar materials are used in the package, the adhesion between these parts is very strong, thus providing a highly reliable device at a lower cost.
