    • A connector (100) for connecting a sheet-like electronic member includes a housing (10); a number of terminals (20) loaded in the housing, said terminal including a first and second beams (21 and 22) defining a gap therebetween; and an actuator (30) pivotally movable between an open position and a closed position relative to the housing. The actuator is provided with cam portions (310) engaging with the terminals so as to broaden the gap between the first and second beams when the actuator is at the open position for facilitating the sheet-like electronic member to enter, and to allow said gap to narrow when the actuator is at the closed position so that the sheet-like electronic member can be clasped and retained by the first and second beams, and retaining portions (311) adapted for engaging with and further retaining the sheet-like electronic member.

    • A precharge system for active matrix display devices having data and scan lines, pixels, and first and second voltage sources. The precharge system comprises a precharge circuit having first transistors, with gate electrode and drain electrode connected to function as a diode, of which a first terminal is coupled to the first voltage source, a second transistor of which a first terminal is coupled to the second terminals of the first transistors, a second terminal is coupled to the data lines, and a control terminal receives a positive precharge signal, third transistors, connected to function as a diode, of which a first terminal is coupled to the second voltage source, and a fourth transistor of which a first terminal is coupled to the second terminals of the third transistors, a second terminal is coupled to the corresponding data lines, and a control terminal receives a negative precharge signal.

    • A driving circuit. The driving circuit includes a plurality of scan shift register cells, a pair of complementary clock signal lines, and a horizontal start signal generator. Each scan shift register cell comprises a bidirectional circuit, a shift register coupled to the bidirectional circuit, a transmission gate coupled to the shift register, and a data line coupled to the transmission gate. The complementary clock signal lines are coupled to the shift registers. The horizontal start signal generator provides a horizontal start signal to the bidirectional circuits in the first and a subsequent scan shift register cells. The shift register in each scan shift register cell provides an output signal to the bidirectional circuit in the next scan shift register cell. The bidirectional circuit in each scan shift register cell also receives the output signal from the shift register in the next scan shift register cell.
